Potter Heigham, Norfolk, East Anglia, England
Sitting on the North West bank of the river at Potter Heigham this quirky cottage is unique and spacious. Fisherman have plenty of river frontage here, 50ft, and there is a private dyke 18ft. Traditionally built with timber like many of the other cottages along this stretch you have fabulous views both up and down the river, large decked area to sit and while away the hours with large G & T in hand. Perfect relaxing times.

About the neighborhood
With the famous medieval bridge, Potter Heigham is one of the main boating centres on the Norfolk Broads and a long stretch of water for those that fancy a little trip out from their cottage on a Dayboat. The famousPotter Heigham Bridge crosses the River Thurne and splits Potter Heigham into two, Thurne Bank & Potter Bank with access in both directions to other pretty Broadland Villages. Upper Thurne leading to Hickling, Horsey Martham and in the other direction Horning, Wroxham, Ludham and further a field Stalham and southern rivers. The Broadshaven Tavern public house overlooks the river so sitting and watching the world float by from the river garden is a must.
