The Apartment, occupies a unique position near the top of a hill, in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the outskirts of the town of Zacharo. Its location offers a panoramic views over the bay of Kyparissia and the local olive groves as well as the valleys and mountains that surround the house. This spacious Rooftop Apartment has a large open private veranda, not overlooked, and a covered kitchen/dining/ area enclosed by netted doors. The Apartment consists of a bathroom with shower enclosure, sink, wc and bath, a large bedroom with a double and small double beds that can sleep 3 or 4 persons and a Kitchen/Living area which has a double sofa bed that can sleep 2. Access to the Rooftop Apartment is by climbing only 8 steps from the car park area! The sandy beaches are just a 10-15 minutes drive away and many parts offer secluded beaches (even in the height of the holiday season) are easily accessible in the area along the coastline. An Excellent location as a base to explore Peloponnese with all its Archaeological sites like Ancient Olympia, Neda waterfalls, Mystras Byzantine Castle City, Ancient Messini and Sparta. The area is also well suited to walkers and cyclist alike and the 'off Road' enthusiast as there are many miles of dirt roads and tracks to be discovered in the surrounding area. The stretch of coast between Kyparissia and Pyrgos has been untouched by tourism and has some of the most beautiful and unspoilt beaches in the Peloponnese, including a 40 km stretch running from Kyparissia., on many of these beaches we have loggerhead turtles come ashore to lay their eggs and they can be seen swimming off the coast. Location: 3 hours drive from Athens airport, 1 hour from Kalamata airport and 2 hours from Patras (Araxos) airport. Many European airlines operate including Easyjet, British airways, Ryanair, Monarch and Olympic airways. Hire cars can be collected at the airports. If arriving by ferry from Italy the port of Patras is 2 hours.
