Located on a family run organic farm that overlooks the Thrushall River & Dartmoor National Park. It is an isolated & proper log cabin with a well equipped open plan spacious kitchen area with granite worktops, a fridge/freezer, electric oven, dish washer and washing machine. There is a large dining area & comfortable sitting room with log burner. Outside you have a large decked patio area overlooking Dartmoor & lots of wildlife. 10 minutes from Dartmoor & 30 minutes to the beach.

The Old Apple Store (Sleeps 6) 2 doubles, 1 twin room.

There are two double bedrooms, one has a luxurious bath and one twin room with two single beds.

We have an empty room off one of the double bedrooms where one could put a cot.

Family size bathroom and cloakroom with wc.

Beautiful wooden lodge with spacious bedrooms, dining area and wood burner. Owners were really friendly, not intrusive and made us feel very welcomed.

About the neighborhood
The Neighbourhood. Within fifteen minutes there is the castle town of Okehampton and the market towns of Launceston and TAVISTOCK. If you like water sports, Roadford Lake is ten minutes away, horse riding on the moors, or there are numerous National Trust properties to explore. This is an ideal peaceful place to stay exploring Devon and Cornwall. There is a village pub within walking distance which does great food.
