Farmhouse
'Les Trois Anes' is a beautifully restored 300 year old Bearnaise farmhouse, which has been recently renovated with exposed beams and stonework to keep its traditional character. It is situated in the quiet and relaxing village of Susmiou just outside the old Bastide town of Navarrenx, nestling in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The farmhouse offers high quality, self-catering, holiday accommodation for both summer and winter breaks. It is a wonderful environment in which to sit back, relax and unwind while exploring this diverse region with its fascinating history and outstanding natural beauty. In the summer, it is not uncommon to see wild deer roaming freely, magnificent vultures soaring overhead and the occasional wild boar whilst enjoying a glass of wine in the garden. These include the high ropes Adventure Park, the outdoor water park Aqua Bearn, horse riding, cave walks, rafting and canoeing, swimming and water sports at the local lake with beach front and several swimming pools nearby both indoor and outdoor. During the winter months there are several ski resorts which offer skiing, snowboarding and even igloo building!! For those who wish to stay snug and warm indoors however, why not relax in front of the wood burning stove with a mug of hot chocolate and a good film!!!More
