Bedrooms
The house is equipped with four bedrooms, two on the first floor, and two in the cellar. Each of them has room for two people. Additionally, there's a study on the first floor that contains another bed. So there is plenty of room for nine people.
Most bedrooms have single beds, except one on the first floor, which has a double bed. It also has the best view.
Kitchen
The kitchen is very well equipped. You can cook pretty much anything, and there's plenty of dishes for that many people. There's even a dish washer and a big fridge, which you will need for all the drinks you will be sipping on, without a care in the world. Except for the hangover afterwards, of course.
Next to the kitchen there's a dinner table, which you won't really use because the porch is a much better place to have dinner. I'll get to that soon.
Bathrooms
There are two bathrooms. One on the first floor, the other in the cellar. Standard equipment including a shower and a toilet. Another thing worth mentioning is the fact that you have to collect the used toilet paper in trashcans, instead of throwing it in the toilet. Something about narrow pipes in Greece...but it's easy to adapt.
Outdoors
There is quite a lot of space outdoors. Aside from the pool, which is great to have, there are plenty of places to lie down and fry in the sun.
There are even two porches, a smaller one, with a table for roughly 3 – 4 people, and a larger one.
The larger one really is the spectacle of the house, because it has a big table, and the best view on the sea. You'll be spending quite a few days and nights out there.
For the people who are into chopping wood, there's even a brick oven. We prepared many meals in there, including Fish and Pizza.
Location
The next big town is Volos, and thats about a 30 – 40 minute drive from where you'll be staying. I only recommend going there to get to the supermarket. Unless you are in need of a mechanic, there doesn't seem to be any other reason to go to Volos.
Get used to the fact that most places you will want to go to will have to be reached by car.
What to watch out for
-) Ants
Get used to the fact that food lying around in the house will attract ants, and there are many ants in Greece.
No need to dispair, though. If you clean up regularly and get rid of all of them if they do get in, then you are in luck.
-) Driving in Greece
Even if they don't seem like it, roads in Greece, especially the ones up and down the hills, can have a toll on the car. So I recommend insurance and safe driving. If your car seems like it won't take it, don't try it.
Summary
Great house to spend your evenings with friends or family. Once you get used to planning ahead reagarding grocery shopping and trips, you'll be fine.
