The Wink, the local pub, is about a 10 minute walk up the valley as is The Cove Cornwall which is open to non-residents. St Buryan, 3 miles, has a church, village store/P.O., pub and garage, and for a wider selection of amenities, the seaside town of Penzance is about a 15 minute drive with a ferry service to the Isles of Scilly. There are stunning cliff walks along this dramatic coastline both east and west with wonderful views of the sea, flowers and birdlife, directly from your doorstep. It is also an excellent base for exploring the far west of Cornwall by car and an easy drive to Mousehole, Newlyn, the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno and only a little further to Sennen Cove and St Ives. Stay - The Accommodation...Set at the bottom of a long tree shaded lane which leads to the small picturesque granite harbour, an external spiral staircase leads up to a south facing roof terrace, perfect for enjoying an alfresco meal, with unsurpassed views of the sea and cove through a glass balustrade. From here, patio doors and one step lead directly into an open plan, split level living room with a dining suite and comfortable lounge seating, all of which have panoramic views of the sea, cliffs and coastline from three large windows. One step then continues up to a neatly fitted galley kitchen with a ceramic four ring hob, electric oven and microwave. Beyond is a lovely bedroom with a kingsize double where it is possible to enjoy the fine sea views without getting out of bed, and a fully tiled en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin completes the accommodation. A parking permit for one car is provided for the harbour car park adjacent to the property. The Wink, the local pub, is about a 10 minute walk up the valley as is The Cove Cornwall which is open to non-residents. Don't forget...- Due to the coastal location and being set down in a cove surrounded by cliffs, broadband connection can be intermittent. Non residents are very welcome to use the Wi-Fi of the nearby Lamorna Cove Hotel. - Bath towels not available (hand towels provided) - No cot. carrycot accepted - This property welcomes one medium sized dog onlyMore

Our second visit in the last year and The Lookout doesn't disappoint. Such a jollification, Unrivalled views, great appartment for two people. Friendly staff, nicely remote but with easy access to Penzance (5-10 minutes). Tres charmant.

Thank David C
