for the right traveler/s. I was looking for an inexpensive, no-frills place to lay my head during my stay in Tulum. Dora was a gracious host and I very much enjoyed getting to know her. She is happy to provide suggestions for places to go, eat, etc. Her place had once been a youth hostel-type place and she has converted it to private cabanas. The one I stayed in (there are 3 or 4) had an in-room bathroom w/shower and a super comfortable mattress. My cabana was really basic but I didn't need more; it did have a t.v. with the usual MX channels. The complimentary breakfast included fresh squeezed mango or guava juice, eggs, toast, fruit and coffee/tea. It is located a couple of blocks off the main drag at the southern edge--the last side street in the core part of town and on a one way street (heading north). Parking is on-street. I had my rental parked outside all week with no problems.
