We just returned from a stay at the amazingly beautiful and fabulous Casa de la Playa. We had 4 couples occupy the house and the one resounding statement was, “the house and private beach MADE our trip!” So much so that we only went to dinner one night! If you’ve ever been to Isla, this is very atypical as most days are spent in golf carts exploring island and eating out for every meal.
I cannot articulate how much this beautiful and accommodating home made our trip. The beach was so amazing (pics don’t do it justice!) that we rarely left our house and spent most of our time lying on our private serene beach.
Furthermore, the service I experienced from the booking agent and property manager, Vicki, to our three amazing house helpers who took care of our very need without us even having to ask. Carlos, his mate, and Maria remained in the background, almost unseen, then would show up out of nowhere with beach towels, umbrella setup, washing dishes or laundry, even setting up a bonfire on the beach for us. I felt they were very concerned about our safety and ensuring the house was locked and secure throughout our trip. Who could ask for better!
As for Vicki, the property manager, she went above and beyond throughout the process. Being patient with the tedious payment options to start, then helping me get golf cart reservations from a preferred vendor at a better price despite being told months earlier they were sold out!! She was super and so patient with my numerous questions about what to pack and restaurant recommendations... Being in the service industry myself, I know good customer service and can honestly say that Vicki far exceeded my expectations. She truly went out of her way to assist us in ways she didn’t have to do. I cannot thank her enough!
If you get the chance to stay at the amazing beach house, jump on it. I promise, you will not regret it!!
