The second bedroom has two twin beds (which can be pushed together) and a second bathroom right across the hallway. The one bedroom condos have a queen bed and bath upstairs; and an open plan dining room, living room with sofa bed, and full kitchen downstairs. Every bedroom has a balcony over-looking the courtyard, fountain and pool. The lower level of the one bedroom units have balconies with a small table and chairs that are perfect for breakfast or an intimate dinner for two. Free local calls from a phone in common area.

Needing to delay our return to Provence, we decided to spend some three weeks in San Miguel de Cozumel staying at Casa Martillo, a six unit condo complex in a peaceful residential area about ten minutes walk from the water and super markets. Due to covid worries, we shopped at the local market and took our meals in on the porch of our 1 bedroom unit. It was super! We very much appreciated the support of the residential team and contacts with the others in residence. Only 15 minutes walk from a pickup pier, I went diving every other day on the reef with Salt Endeavors. We also rented bikes to explore....all in all, an excellent time at Casa Martillo. I am looking forward to returning again!

A great Cozumel experience
A really well laid out facility with nice amenities and conveniently located close to supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Well-managed and friendly staff.

I’m a repeat customer because it’s always clean, quiet and very close to the water.
I’ve stayed at Casa Martillo over a half dozen times. It’s my go to place in Cozume. David runs a great operation. It’s clean, quiet and close to the water. I’m a scuba diver. It has a laundry room with places to hang your wetsuits, BCD’s, etc.

Fabulous
This is our 4 th trip to Cozumel. We have only glowing remarks for Casa Martillo. Location is great, we walked almost anywhere we wanted to go .... great local neighbours,new friends, fabulous restaurants, lots to keep you experiencing new sites, new experiences, new tastes, everything you you could ask for along with 28-30 degree weather in February!
David is great to work with when booking, process is simple and fast. Staff is truly wonderful, not a lot of English but it is amazing how well we were able to communicate. Very clean, spacious, well furnished - everything we needed to either relax around the pool, cook our own snacks or complete meals in the full kitchen or outside over the two BBQs. When we wanted to dine out there were literally hundreds of great restaurants within walking distance.
We have already rebooked for 2020 - when you find a place like Casa Martillo you want to return again and again. Thanks for another great stay!

Casa Martillo Condo in Cozumel
We recently stayed at this wonderful gated condo in Cozumel. We were welcomed by the staff and caretaker. We decided to rent a car as we like to explore. For 10 days we stayed while each day there was cleaning service. It’s mostly a quiet location and safe. The noisiest night was New Years (which is to be expected). We loved that there were grocery stores & restaurants within walking distance as well as snorkeling and the center are all within walking distance. I especially liked cooking breakfast and dinner. We even used the grill. Also helpful: washer & dryer. If we get back to Cozumel anytime soon, we would most definitely return. Thank you David!

Excellent condo, exceedingly helpful/thoughtful owner, hope to return regularly.
Close to shopping and an array of restaurants...yet quiet, secure enclave that has the feel of a villa. David is an absolutely amazing host, has a handy guidebook full of valuable insight and recommendations, arranged diving with excellent DiveWithMartin team (shockingly good diving). The spacious apartment featured excellent kitchen area, comfortable top floor bedroom, AC, ultra clean, nice shower/bathroom area, safe deposit, pool, courtyard and sense of privacy and safety throughout. David's team including helper, cleaning person and manager we're all excellent and friendly... look forward to coming back repeatedly and would recommend to anyone wanting a great place and fair treatment.

Wonderful clean and quiet retreat
We stayed for just over 2 weeks and had a wonderful time at Casa Martillo. It is clean and close to Chedraui for shopping. Walking distance to the water and well stocked with cooking utensils and a calm atmosphere.
I have stayed at Casa Martillo for years now and will continue to make that my "go to" lodging in Cozumel.

Quaint and comfortable with all the flair of Cozumel
Casa Martillo is our favorite place to stay while in Cozumel. Though not a 5 Star Hotel, it is clean, comfortable, quiet and reasonably priced, which is what we look for. Roberta, Antonio, and Marilou are the best staff around and the owner, David is always ready to accommodate any need. Tip the staff well: They take care of you, you take care of them!

Location, Location, Location.
We have stayed at Casa Martillo several times. The location of the condo makes it very easy to get around. Close to downtown, grocery stores, and so many choices for eating / drinking and just plan playing in the water. We find the set up of the condos, which there is only 6 units makes it easy to visit with your new neighbours or have quiet time. The pool is refreshing and nice area for lounging.

Fabulous oasis
This condo is lovely - good location not far from downtown - within walking distance to shops etc. The place is very well equipped, clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. We loved the pool - perfect for taking a dip on those hot days. We loved it!

Getting around
Casa Martillo is within easy walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, and snorkeling. We partner with Salty Endeavors Diving for dive trips and they pick up at Hotel Cozumel and Resort located about six blocks from Casa Martillo.

You can fly direct to Cozumel airport. For cheaper flights, fly to Cancun and take the bus and ferry. The buses are very modern, clean, and safe. The ferry ride is a short 50 minutes and fun.
