Amazing!
I travel a lot, but none of the places that I have stayed so far were so exceptional that I would have taken my time to write a review. But Villa Albatros..I was blown away. We stayed there in April for an extended weekend and as soon as we walked in we felt welcomed. You literally open the door and see the ocean. Amazing! We were looking for a getaway to relax and de-stress and that was exactly what we got. When we arrived we got a tour of the house and when they showed us our bedroom, our luggage was already in the room with the additional items we requested.
If you have any request the Villa Manager makes sure it will be taken care of. They arranged some in-room spa treatments and when you are at the pool it actually feels like you are at a luxury hotel. They serve you fresh fruits and great Mojitos and their own refreshing lemonade. The rooms are very comfortable and bright and you can see the ocean from every room. We stayed at the master suite which has its own walk in closet (actually the “closet” is a room itself) and a huge bathroom with Jacuzzi.
The villa is right on the beach and it is very quiet and peaceful. One night we went to the main strip in Cancun, which is only about 10min away. But it feels like you are in a different world, a lot of partying. The next days we decided to enjoy the pool and beach at the house. We also went with their concierge’s recommendation to take a ferry over to Isla Mujeres. Great idea! The ferry ride was fun (and we could even walk there) and in Isla Mujeres we rented golf carts to explore the island.
I would go back to Villa Albatros in a heart beat. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay with great service and privacy, definitely the place to go!

Breathtaking...
My stay at Villa Albatros was a wonderful experience. The villa was well located, just a short distance from the airport and only minutes away from many of the shops, restaurants and bars. The place itself was breathtaking with amazing views and impeccable decor. My room was incredibly spacious as was the bathroom. When I arrived the villa, the place as well as my room was welcoming with fresh flowers and cleaned to perfection.
My favorite part was the view from my room as well as from the pool area...beautiful. The pool area was open, comfortable and large. The beach was clean and there weren't any rocks to obstruct my way in. The service was great; attentive, thorough, but never over-bearing.
The only thing I can say I didn't like was that my stay was not long enough!

It was a wonderful vacation, exactly what I was looking for and more. It's a short ride from the airport and only minutes away from all the bars, shops, and restaurants. The villa itself was breath-taking with impecable decor and very clean. The views from the balcones as well as the pool are were spectacular. My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer.

Paradise in best(!!) location
The experience I had during my 10 day geteway at Villa albatros was far beyond what I could have ever imagined, which is reason for the fact that a) I extended my stay and b) I am already in touch with the management team to arrange for my visit next year.
This was my first trip to Cancun Mexico and I was looking for a vacation that can give me both, the buzz of a vibrant and exciting beach destination with a large variety of entertainment offerings and the absolute privacy, comfort and calmness of a home for total relaxation. Hence I opted for this Villa, which gave me the luxury of being able to accommodate my friends who where also visiting Cancun in a very private ad personalized ambience.
The staff, as well as the management team were highly dedicated and attended to our needs, like no Hotel would ever be able to do. Everyone quickly understood exactly what was liked, when and how which made every guest feel like a Royal for once in their life.
The Villa, with its impressive Lobby with Fountains, Large swimming pool and Terraces on many levels, has a direct access to the beach and the shores of the Caribean Ocean. The rooms are (as everryhting) very luxurious and spacious and eqipped with the latest technology.
In less than 10 minutes you are in the Centre of Cancuns Entertainment district and yet the Villa is souranded by a serene golf course, perfect for the moring walk.
I will be back!

I highly recomend Villa albatros, everything on it is superb. Locationwise is perfect to rest with its wonderfull ocean view, the privacy of the property and it's great instalations and is also perfect for it's closeness to mayan ruins and to practice eco-tourism. The villa is also located walk distance to excellent restaurants.

Gorgeous villa/private beach w/ impeccable service/value
Villa albatross is really perfect for a bachelor/bachelorette party. I threw one here for 10 girls this past weekend. It's so close to the nightlife of Cancun yet also has the privacy of a secluded resort. The private beach has soft sand and the water is warm. The house itself is gorgeous and perfect for entertaining. However, what really set this particular villa experience apart from the rest is the property manager, Andreas! He anticipated every need of our party and has the best connections in the city to get you the best value and access. The food at the resort was healthy and truly delicious. Order food at the house! Don't bother going out - we went to Harry's and spent $100/person, but the food at the house was a quarter of that price and so much better!!! Only caveat is bring some insect repellent - Cancun can be hot and humid!!! Highly highly recommend. My friends and I are going back with our families!

More like Villa Paradise 10 stars!
From the moment Robert greeted us walking up to the steps of this amazing house, we knew this place was going to exceed our expectations. You fall in love with the place right when you walk in and want to run around to find your bedroom like Real World MTV or the model's house on america's Next Top Model. The beds are like clouds that help you sleep like a baby, but if you really want to purchase one, they're Sealy Posturepedics. Their back deck overlooking the ocean is like a postcard! Robert, Andreas and the owners did a wonderful job at renovating this place.
We were driving around lost trying to find the place which is why the location got minus a couple stars points. Had our concierge (based out in Canada) gave us more clear instructions to pass on to the driver, that would have been more helpful. It's definitely not the Villa's fault.
The icing on the cake was andreas, our attentive, sweet, peaceful, Cuuute house chef/waiter/property manager and his magic staff. Andreas greeted us with margaritas and guacamole/chips upon Check-In. Skip Harry's or any of the other high end restos and let andreas prepare his mexican fare for you on the outdoor patio. Whenever we called a taxi or a van service he's the one that negotiated on our behalf in espanol. Don't mess with him or his guests! We all wanted to make clones of him and pack him up in our suitcase and take him home with us!

Great place
Place is wonderful, wonderful villa, amazing serivice, beautiful view. The pool and private beach is amazing. Of course, the best part is the on-site property manager-Andreas. He's offered the best service I've ever had. I will follow him to go vacation wherever he works at!
