Excellent hotel-like amenities with a taste of Historical/Colonial Cuernavaca, City of Eternal Spring, shares tropical gardens and a beautiful heated pool in a gated,centrally located community of eight Vintage Mexican Villas of Villas Bellavista.
Villa Escondida has a beautiful tile bathroom, handpainted tile kitchen that opens to the living room and dining area with numerous
skylights, arched windows, fireplace and French doors that open onto the balcony that overlooks lush gardens.
Folk art and Mexican textiles decorate this fully furnished villa which comes complete with linens & towels for the bed and bath.
There is a King size bed with duvet cover and an ample closet. Amenities include Free Wi-fi, cell phone, Smart T.V. (Netflix) garage, full-time staff, daily cleaning for daily...

Quiet, relaxing respite in Cuernavaca
We spent a month at Villas de Bellavista and enjoyed it very much. The hosts (Bob, Cristina and their daughters) were very cordial and helpful. The compound was gated and we felt perfectly safe all of the time. Our son and his family visited on weekends (renting another villa) and always felt welcomed by our hosts. The grounds were beautiful and our villa was sunny and bright. There is a 1950s vibe to the entire property which added to its charm. Laundry facilities were accessible and there was no charge for their use. Bus and taxi services were very close and there was a nice grocery store within easy walking distance. Cuernavaca has many excellent restaurants and we experienced many of them at the recommendation of our hosts. The weather for the entire month was fantastic. We would welcome the opportunity to return.

Villa Escondida is a lovely, light-filled, quiet, comfortable home
Bob and Cristina were friendly, helpful hosts who were welcoming and took good care of us during our entire stay. The handsome villas are enhanced by picturesque landscaped gardens and walkways. The complex is gated and secure in a nice neighborhood. A Radio Cabs station is just a block up the street. Great supermarket, bakery, ATMs, convenience stores, restaurants, and buses to downtown are nearby within a ten-minute walk. After a long day at Spanish school, it was great to come "home" to Villa Escondida.

About the neighborhood
Villa Escondida is part of a private, gated community of eight homes,located in an upscale residential neighborhood yet only 1 1/2 blocks to the main historical avenue for Cuernavaca, Avenida Emiliano Zapata. Centrally located within walking distance of Spanish language schools such as Chac-mol, Spanish Language Institute (SLI), Center for Bilingual Multicultural Studies (UNINTER) and IDEAL. The Botichelli Institute of Florence, Italy gives classes for Restoration and Art History and is located across the street. Euroamerica, the licensed hotel/culinary school of the American Hotel & Lodging
Educational Institute is also in our immediate area.
On Ave. Emiliano Zapata, there is a new park with walking paths, a community center which offers classes in yoga, martial arts, lit tennis and basketball courts, a playground, an excercise area and activities for different age groups, including for seniors. There are numerous restaurants on Ave. Zapata that offer Mexican regional specialties and International cuisine, banks, a new supermarket, bakeries, coffee cafes including Starbucks and Punta de Cielo, galleries and take-outs like Dominio`s Pizza and 7-11.
Public transport is constantly available on this main avenue and there is a radio taxi 1/2 block from Las Villas de Bellavista. Villa Escondida has a free covered parking and extra off-street parking in the private entry area.
Within one block on Ave. Zapata, the major avenue for Cuernavaca, there are numerous
banks, great Mexican regional restaurants, fast-food take-outs like Dominos Pizza, supermarkets, bakeries, Starbucks, taxis, public transport etc.
the Historic Center is only 5-8 minutes where there is the 16th Century Cathedral, Cortes Palace with Diego Rivera Murals, The Borda Gardens, Museums, Art galleries, The Brady Museum and more great restaurants.

How to get there
There is an executive shuttle (Pullman de Morelos) service from the Mexico City airport to Cuernavaca that leaves every hour until 11:30PM.
The cost is about $12 dls.
Also a private driver can be arranged to pick you up at the airport for around $100- $120 dls.
From the bus station "La Selva" in Cuernavaca there are taxis of Pullman de Morelos that will take you to our address for about $3 dls. Our address is Tabachín #133 Colonia Bellavista mention that we are “por transito”or “Glorieta de Tlaltenango”. The villas are located at Tabachin #135 (same property).
