Nestled among expansive tropical, manicured gardens with an outside terrace, this 1,000 sq.ft. private house shares 1.5 acres and a 40´ heated pool with cabaña with seven other Villas in a private and secure gated community, Las Villas de Bellavista. Each villa is architecturally designed to protect privacy and to optimize environmental conditions.
Villa Amecameca has one large bedroom with two double beds , a tiled bathroom with shower, large tiled kitchen with all the cooking essentials and a spacious living/ dining area with vaulted ceilings and carved wooden French doors that open onto the covered terrace. Great find in Cuenavaca
Found a fantastic & beautiful spot that has the charm of authentic mexico with deco houses and true historic architecture and furnishings. Secure gated community of houses with beautiful landscaping and heated pool. Found the owners to be gracious and helpful in our trip. This place is a jewel in the middle of a dynamic city. Loved it and will be back as soon as I can.

Great vacation home for a get-away weekend.
As repeat guests at Las Villas de Bellavista my wife and I have enjoyed the exotic sights and sounds of a truly authentic Mexican experience, complete with towering palms and tropical gardens teeming with birds, parrots and butterflies of every hue and size. The gated compound of Las Villas has 8 unique houses and we've stayed in several.
Villa Xochimilco is quite large for a one bedroom casita and has a terrace overlooking some of the expansive gardens. There is even a hammock to loll away the afternoons. Each casita we've stayed in is unique and private with genuine Mexican artisan touches from handpainted tiles and murals to handwoven textiles. The kitchen is equipped for cooks, but frankly these are carefree escapes from our busy schedules and there are great restaurants close by.The villas are very conveniently located. These homes are a wonderful alternative to hotels as they afford a comfortable, relaxing retreat with privacy and security in a beautiful setting. Going there is always a treat.

About the neighborhood
Villa Amecameca is centrally located one block from the historical main avenue of Cuernavaca, Ave. Emiliano Zapata and within walking distance of Spanish language schools such as Chac-mol, Spanish Language Institute, Center for Bilingual Multicultural Studies, and IDEAL.
The Botichelli Institute of Florence, Italy gives classes for Restoration and Art History and is located across the street. Euroamerica, the licensed hotel/culinary school of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute is also in our immediate area.
Within one block on Ave. Zapata, the major avenue for Cuernavaca, there are numerous banks/ATM's, great Mexican restaurants, fast-food take-outs like Dominos, KFC, supers, 7/11, taxis, Starbucks and coffee bars, bakeries, galleries, and public transport etc.
For ten days beginning with the last day of August, the Tlatenango Fair takes place on Avenida Zapata where they close this important street to celebrate a 293 year-old festival in front of one of the oldest churches in the Americas built by the Conquistador, Hernan Cortes in 1523.

How to get there
There is an executive shuttle (Pullman de Morelos) service from the Mexico City airport to Cuernavaca that leaves every hour until 11:30PM.
For those arriving in Terminal 1:
Turn left as you leave customs, go up the electric ramp, follow the “Autobuses” sign and buy your tickets to Cuernavaca with Pullman de Morelos, the cost is about $18 dls.
For those arriving in Terminal 2:
Exit customs, turn right and go to the end of the terminal where the bus station of Pullman de Morelos is located.
Also a private driver can be arranged to pick you up at the airport for around $120 dls.
