A Big Piece of Paradise
This is the most beautiful place I have ever visited in Mexico. Las Palmas is paradise. We have been coming here for many years and it just keeps on getting better every time. The tropical gardens, streaming with beautiful birds, the panoramic Pacific views of sunrises and sunsets, the tranquility of the sea breezes, are added bonuses of staying here. The casitas are perfect for a romantic vacation or just to have a safe and peaceful place to get away and relax by yourself. The staff are always available, helpful and very kind. this place is truly what a vacation is all about. I look forward to every visit.

Pacific views with beautiful sunsets
We spent 7 days with family and enjoyed many hours in the pool! We liked the facilities and they were well maintained. We had meals prepared, breakfast every day and dinner 5 nights. These meals were below average compared to other experiences we have had. Staff was generally available to answer questions. Good workout to trek down the hill right from your villa to the beach, but, advertised as private but many tour boats bring their customers to this beach for snorkeling and swimming. I snorkeled here and saw many fish and live coral! Limited wi-fi.

Dear Steven, We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Las Palmas! We advertise our beach as secluded but not private, Playa El Violin is part of a national park and according to Mexican law all beaches in Mexico are public. The beach is usually uncrowded but it does depend on the time of the year. We are happy that you had the opportunity to snorkel and enjoy the beach, we hope to see you here again soon! Best regards,

Beautiful and Spacious
We (24 family members) spent a week in the 2 villas and 5 Casita's. Most of the activity was around the beautiful spacious pool in the Dolphin Villa. The sun hits this pool almost all day and the views of the sunset are awesome. It was great being in close proximity of each other, not sure how it would be if different groups were renting the individual buildings. The grounds are well kept and are beautiful. We hired the cooks (2) to provide our meals.. Communication was an issue - we paid for afternoon appetizer's of Salsa & Guacamole and that happened twice. the appetizers were included in our evening meal. In their defense they had a very very small kitchen and only a 2 burner stove in the Papla. We experienced an unfortunate situation upon our departure with the airport closed due to a strike. Talina came to our rescue - had the driver stay with us and bring us back to the Las Palmas and gave us a room. She saw to it we got to the airport the next day and on our flight. Her efforts meant the world to us. This property is GREAT for a large group. Courtney was awesome to work with while planning our stay. A video is being made. We will share it when I receive it.

We are sorry about about any communication issues; we are always working on improving our language and communication skills, we will try to be more clear with the cooks in the future. We look forward to seeing the video and hope to see you all here again very soon! Warm regards,

Wow!
As there was only two of us we stayed in one of the (4, I think) casitas. One bedroom, sitting area and a kitchen and two bathrooms. It also had a bed in the living room that would sleep a couple of kids. Lots of room. It has two balconies, one overlooking the main pool and one over looking the Pacific. With all the windows we always had a nice ocean breeze. Las Palmas is a very welcoming place with Talina, Eric and Elejandro ready to help out at anytime. The grounds are very well kept and so are the pools. As there weren't that many people there at the time we were able to look around the place and we can hardly wait to come back with our family or a few other couples and get one of the three villas. Wow. Done to perfection. Large bedrooms with great views and incredible showers with awesome views. The pool areas are private, large and breath taking. I really can't say enough good things about Las Palmas. It is also walking distance to a couple of great beaches (Entrega and Violin) and a short cab ride to a number of other beaches. Although we have been travelling for over 20 years in Mexico we were blown away by Las Palmas and the Huatulco area. Gracias everyone at Las Palmas including Ron and Jackie (owners) who we were lucky enough to meet. Hasta pronto!

Absolutely Fabulous!
From the moment we walked in the door and saw the amazing view, to the moment we left,we had a fabulous, wonderful, amazing holiday! Loved the towns of Santa Cruz and Las Crucecita. Enjoyed the pool every single day. We had the wonderful experience of requesting that the lady who cleaned every day for us, cook us a typical local meal. Enjoyed every bite! The taxi drivers came quickly when we wanted a ride to town for a nice dinner at a restaurant. The eight of us all enjoyed the holiday very much. Enjoyed sitting by the pool, the walk down to the beach, the wonderful constant temperature, the sun...the only complaint is that it takes so long to get there. I want to go back!

Best Family Vacation EVER !!
Las Palmas Villas is absolutely spectacular !!!! Our family vacation could'nt have been better, beginning with our on time, professional airport pickup & super friendly staff- led by onsite Manager "Talina " & all of the supporting staff members, all were so gracious and accomodating, we felt immediately comfortable and welcome. Upon arrival at Las Palmas, we quickly realized we were at a very special place- the grounds are beautifully landscaped and manicured, the Villas themselves are very grand looking, well kept, and attention to detail is very evident. The setting is spectacular, perched on the hilltop overlooking your own private beach and Violin Bay in one direction, and Santa Cruz Bay/harbor in the opposite direction. Walking in to our Villa, the Turtle Bay, you can see straight through the grand double entry doors to the Pacific- simply breathtaking !!! the entire Villa floorplan & design was exceptional, and the fit & finish of everything, top notch. The Villa has all of the modern conveniences one would expect in a resort of this caliber and more, all of which are meticulously maintained. We particularly enjoyed our private infinity edge pool and poolside palapa area..Our personal cook, Margarita, was wonderful !! I was traveling with my family of eight, from my 2 grandsons ages 1 & 4 to my mother, age 77 - Las Palmas suited us all perfectly. The nearby towns of Santa Cruz and La Crucita are remarkably clean and friendly, with a calm and secure feeling to them, like no where else in Mexco i've been. Overall, our experience at Las Palmas Villas was amazing and truly memorable, it provided us the the best family vacation ever - we will definitely return !!!! Thank you Las Palmas !!!

Fabulous family vacation
My family and I wanted a getaway from the cold midwest winters and chose Las Palmas, in Huatulco after seeing the amazing photos and reviews online. We were blown away when we arrived and were greeted by the helpful staff and fabulous grounds of the resort. We rented the Turtle villa, which was spacious and had more than enough room for everyone. The private pool was gorgeous and the views were simply spectacular! We enjoyed all that the area has to offer. We took a taxi and explored the town of Huatulco, had an adventurous aTV ride, and enjoyed great food and drink at the local bars and restaurants. However, we often found it hard to leave Las Palmas as the private pool and beach were so relaxing! We enjoyed meeting and having a drink with other guests, but loved the privacy that the resort has to offer. Our week in Las Palmas was nothing short of amazing! It was by far the best family vacation we have ever had and are already planning our next winter getaway!

Vacation of a Lifetime!
I feel so lucky to have gotten to stay at beautiful Las Palmas! The house was absolutely amazing! Stunning entry, open air living room, over looking the beautiful bay, expansive upstairs deck right off the master bathroom. Really felt like I was living the life of luxury! The best part about it.... enjoying the pool with the family and great dinners around the large dining room table! I would recommend this lovely place to any family, group of friends, or couple that would like to enjoy a little slice of paradise! :)

Sweet Stay At Las Palmas Dolphin Cove
This was our first trip to Huatulco and Las Palmas, but we really did fall in love with the area and especially Las Palmas From the time we walked down the stairs and seen that breathtaking view from the living room looking out over the infinity pool at violin bay and the open ocean with the cliffs as a backdrop we couldn't get enough of the place until the day we left. This property has to be the best we have ever stayed WRT accommodations. The King suites were awesome with those sliding pocket windows that opened up a gigantic view of the ocean from your room. We stayed in the Master suite and the rooms were all we could have hoped for. The A/C worked great at night to cool down just a little or leave the doors open and let the breeze blow through. Double sinks with a beautifully done tile shower with a large shower bench and a great half moon window to look out at those fantastic views when having a shower. Even though the suites, living area, kitchen and overall layout were fantastic, the hands down winner for us was the amazing infinity pool which we just couldn't get enough of. Just laying in floaties or standing on the edge of it overlooking violin bay from a 200ft elevation was spectacular. Another amazing detail was how the buildings were architecturally designed so that you barley had to move your loungers to have full sun as it kept the same line as it came directly over you and set directly over the living room and pool giving fantastic sunsets while we lounged around watching it go down. All the staff and Ron the owner were really great. Talina and Eric took care of all our needs from a Concierge perspective while we had Nikko cook for us on several occasions during our 2 week stay. We actually mixed it up quite a bit with going out for dinner and cooking steaks etc. ourselves a couple nights. Our favorite restaurants were the Crystal Rose and La Cremma pizzeria in town. We did a great tour on day and rented a 42ft boat where we fished for about 3hrs catching blue and yellow fin tuna along with bonitos. We kept 3 of the tuna and then cruised all the bays on our way down to San Augustine where we moored and went to one of the local establishments there and they cooked up a fantastic feast of the tuna prepared in 3 different ways with sides of rice, beans and of course margaritas  The 7 of us ate till we were stuffed and couldn’t come close to finishing half of it so we gave away the remainder to the staff at Las Palmas. I snorkeled back out to the boat in S.A. bay while the rest were transported back to our boat. The snorkeling was very, very good even though I was a little rushed getting back to the boat so the others weren’t waiting too long. We charted this boat on our own and had it for the entire day for $8000 pesos or $650US. We thought that was a great price and we could have fit 10 people on it easy with us being spread out fishing, on the bow sun tanning and enjoying marine life as well as 3 of us up on the captains perch seeing all the views. The marine life was awesome as there were dolphins jumping out of the water while swimming with the boat directly in front of the girls who were standing at the bow of the boat watching them. All in all a wonderful vacation and we will be back. We also rented jet skis, toured the coffee plantation and waterfalls walked down to La Entrega beach a couple times and enjoyed the fantastic weather with highs of around 32 to 34C and lows of probably around 23 to 25C, just wonderful temperatures. I could go on for a while about all the other cool things we did, but needless to say we will be back with friends in the future and won’t hesitate to make Las Palmas our home once again. So many pic's so little space here :) If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Cheers, Darren and Lorrie Calgary, AB Canada
