Minutes walk from the cottage is a play park for children in the old buckpool harbour. There is a large grassed area, where a set of small football goals are in place.
There are sixteen visitor attractions within the area many of which are suitable for both adults and children (More information on these located within guest folder) The area has 16 golf courses, including the famous championship links course at both Lossiemouth and Banff. A holiday retreat that was a real treat!!
This home, for a base from which to explore the north east, was more than ideal. Four adults, and two children under seven, were easily and very comfortably catered for. Not lacking in any equipment necessary for cooking, eating, cleaning and sleeping. Very spacious, TARDIS like. We loved it. The layout plan worked well with us having a "granny flat" on the lower level. With good weather We would have been comfortable on the balcony all day long. What vistas of sea and wildlife we discovered. Thank you to our generous hosts.

Great cottage with a fabulous roof terrace
We had a great week at Seaview Cottage. It is very spacious and comfortable. The biggest draw is the roof terrace as many cottages in Yardie don't have any where to sit out. We were lucky with the weather and we used the terrace a lot and we saw dolphins twice. Great kitchen facilities and view of the sea from the dining table. Comfortable sofas and excellent TV packages Sky movies and Netflix. The beds are comfortable too. We would definitely recommend and return. Lovely welcome pack too. Thank you.

Lovely cottage
The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and well equipped with everything that you could need. The views were great and we were blessed with good weather which allowed us to sit on the balcony to have a drink and one night we had fish and chips up there from The Fry Inn (East Church St, Buckie) which we would highly recommend. We also had breakfast in J D Ross, formerly Emma’s which was great.
We would highly recommend this cottage and will certainly return.

Fabulous holiday cottage
My family and I stayed at this holiday cottage for 4 nights and it has absolutely everything you could possibly need. It is furnished to a high standard and very well-equipped, with 3 good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was also a lovely welcome pack for us on arrival. Communication with Jillian, the owner, was superb. And the location and views of the coast are stunning from many rooms and from the balcony/terrace. It is so close to the sea- amazing! I highly recommend this cottage and have already booked for another stay later this year. A wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay
We stayed here for four nights and it was lovely.
They place has three big bedrooms (two doubles and one twin), a downstair washroom and a full bathroom upstairs. In the kitchen was a very nice welcome basket filled with goodies.
The view from the terrace is amazing (see photos) It’s just meters away from the water.
It’s a good place to use a base for travelling around the highlands.
We have booked to stay again in the summer.

Perfect location
This is my 2nd visit to Seaview cottage and it didn't disappoint. Cottage has everything you need for a more than comfortable stay. Jillian and Gavin are easily contactable and respond promptly. Location is amazing, stunning and out of this world. No dolphins this year but we saw seals and otters from the kitchen window which acted as our TV for the week. Would recommend this property to anyone.
