15 shades of grey...with splashes of colour, awaits in this newly and tastefully refurbished 3-bed maisonette in the heart of Farnham Common village. We have 3 double bedrooms (2 x twin OR 2 x king-size beds and 1 x double) and two single sofa beds in the lounge if required, so we can cater for a variety of guests. Burnham Beeches is a 5-minute walk away for guests who fancy unwinding in some spectacular nature. The village on the doorstep has shops, great pubs and interesting restaurants aplenty. Easy road access to Beaconsfield (M40) and Slough (M4). 20-Minute drive to Heathrow Airport and easy access to Central London from local train stations. There is a separate kitchen space with all Bosch appliances, coffee grinder and sandwich grill, so you won't go hungry or thirsty! There is a bathroom with shower and bath. Access via 2 flights of stairs, so be aware of that and the maisonette also has 2 floors with the bedrooms on the upper floor. We have EE broadband (fast) as well as Freeview and BT TV (Incl BT Sport), so you can be entertained. We have also decorated the rooms in themes of some of our favourite locations, music and art to give you something to look at during your stay too. Fresh, premium linen and towels from John Lewis should aid a restful night's sleep too :) We do not live at the property but we are only a message or phone call away should you need us. Farnham Common is often described as the hidden gem of the area, lesser-known than Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross but close enough to Slough to offer more of a village retreat to its hustle and bustle. The village has (based on my last count), 4 pubs, 2 express supermarkets, 2 Indian, 1 Thai, 1 Italian, 1 Turkish, 1 Fish & Chip Shop and 2 coffee shops (Costa & independent Italian)...all within walking distance, so you need never eat at the same place twice for 2 weeks! If you want a bit of fresh air or nature, we are on the doorstep of Burnham Beeches, with both Black Park and Langley Park close by. If you are here to work, then you can reach the M4/M40/M25 within 15 minutes. We lived in the village for about 15 years, so we really like the place and we sometimes come to stay here ourselves from time-to-time still. A car is the simplest form of transport, either your own or an Uber. Slough/Beaconsfield/Gerrards Cross Stations are each 10-15 mins away. There is also a bus route that passes through the village. If you like to walk...you should wander across to Burnham Beeches, they also have a cafe in there if you fancy a coffee and piece of cake!More
