Relax and unwind in peaceful tranquility in a quality gite in the beautiful Loire Valley. This quaint cottage has been renovated by French Artisans to a high quality and standard and is tastefully decorated in a contemporary fashion complemented with high quality furniture and fittings.
We live on site but the gite has it’s own double private parking space and peaceful, tranquil garden where you will find a Bistro set, a dinning table and chairs, a summer seat, gas BBQ and sun loungers for relaxing and enjoying the sun throughout the day.
An above ground plunge pool and pool area is available to use by our guests.

Perfectly Peaceful
We had a wonderful week staying at Gite Le Tremblay with our three young children. Iris & Derrick were the perfect hosts and really had thought of everything. The gite was spotlessly clean and the facilities excellent - including a delicious home cooked meal waiting for us on arrival and a beautiful welcome hamper. The children loved the swimming pool and riding bikes around the garden. We visited Akerman Wine Caves which was very interesting - even for the children! Zoo Le Flèche was fantastic and great for a day out. The Trogolodyte Caves near Saumur were a very interesting way to spend an hour or two. Saumur itself is absolutely beautiful with a wonderful square full of restaurants where you can sit and spend an evening. Keating Steak & Wine House is worth a visit. There were lots of little places serving crepes and waffles which the children particularly liked! The location of the gite was so peaceful and quiet but perfectly placed to travel around the Loire Valley. Thank you Iris & Derrick for a lovely family break!

Family holiday
Just spent another relaxing week back at Gite le Tremblay. Once again it didn’t disappoint! Great hosts, gite is 1st class so clean and well equipped for all or needs .. thanks so much iris and Derrick for the hamper and especially remembering our favourite French foods (chocolate bread) being one ;) we would highly recommend Gite people Tremblay. Again one of our favourite places 10 min drive would be les Farmers ;)

Family Memories of a Lifetime
We would recommend Gite Le Tremblay in a heartbeat. Iris and Derrick were so welcoming and have worked so hard to make this Holiday Home a wonderful place to stay, its so clean and well equipped for a family. Our children would wake up and run over to the swings or do two laps of the huge garden on their bikes, it's safe as gated and surrounded by greenery. Once we're up they're all in the pool! At night it's so peaceful, you can spot owls flying past you whilst enjoying a drink on the outdoor seating. There are bikes too and we enjoyed cycling into the beautifully French nearby village with the kids to buy a baguette from the local bakery.
The local area is absolutely stunning, there's actually too much to do and you have to fit in doing nothing too! We all had the craziest time at the local Lakes with full on Waterpark, we visited Ackerman wine caves - great for kids and parents.. Just driving around we were astounded by the beauty of nearby Samur and all local stunning architecture.
After a long drive from the UK Gite le Tremblay was everything you'd imagine from a welcoming place to relax and stay.
Love to come back soon!

Immaculately clean, well equipped cosy gite
We had a super week at this lovely gite. The owners were so welcoming with us and our children and the gite is absolutely beautiful. It was immaculately clean and beautifully designed with everything we needed - even a coffee machine and a range of bikes for all of us for exploring the local area. The garden area is enormous with a number of different seating areas, swings, a pétanque court and a small swimming pool. The gite is located in a very peaceful position next to apple orchards just outside the pretty village of Breil. We will definitely be back!

Family holiday
We would highly recommend staying at Gite le Trimbley in France . In August we had our family holiday the hosts Iris and Derrick Couldn't do enough for us and made us feel so welcome . My child's highlight of the week was at The Farmers water fun just 10 min away. Beautiful countryside surrounds the Gite which makes it so relaxing. Iris and Derrick have thought of everything to entertain their guests from swimming pool to French boules and fancy exercise then a bicycle is there . Thanks again Iris and Derrick we hope to return this year again x

It was great to host the Redmond family. They enjoyed the gîte facilities and facilities in the area. Les Farmers is an excellent water park for adults and children alike and is only a short drive from the gîte.
We hope to see them again soon.

Gite Le Trembley "The Perfect Family Holiday!"
Gite Le Tremblay really is the perfect family holiday with something for everyone , wheather you prefer relaxing by the well equipped pool area, or embracing the French lifestyle ( which my teenagers did with a daily cycle to the " Boulangerie" situated less than ten minutes away, sampling beautiful fresh (pain au chocolate.)
The Chateaux is also an ideal family day out,again just over ten minutes away a beautiful location for a picnic,younger children will enjoy spotting the deer.
For the more energetic "The Farmers" is located around twenty minutes drive, keeping eveyone entertained for hours with canoeing, paddle boarding and large lake inflatables, at very reasonable prices. A most enjoyable day out with a on site restaurant and snack bar serving refreshments with live music late into the evening.
Gite Le Trembly provides the perfect relaxing family holiday with Samur a short car journey away a must see for the beautiful shops, coffee shops and restaurants with a thriving buzzing atmosphere late into the evening.
For the Adults only ( The Acumen champagne caves) with a tour of the caves then sampling the delights! (Thoroughly recommend!)
This property is beautiful located, extremely well equipped, with bicycles and cycling equipment provided for all ages.
Can't recommend enough a fabulous holiday with wonderful hosts, were nothing is to much trouble.
Will definitely be returning!

The McK family were a delight to host in Gîte Le Tremblay. They took full advantage of the amenities provided and used the free bikes and chariot to explore the nearby area including the local Chateau. They visited a number of the local attractions including Saumur, exploring it's historic and grand Chateau and wine caves. They treated the gîtes, gardens and amenities with care and respect. We look forward to seeing them stay with us again.

Very welcoming & helpful hosts with everything that you need for a family holiday
The family friendly gite based very centrally to lots of activities within the Samur region. We enjoyed easily accessible trips to the Bio parc and Terra Botanica along with an interesting visit to the mushroom caves in Samur. We all also enjoyed a very informative tour of the Le Cadre Noir. Closer to home is the Chateau du Lathan a stunning chateau located a 5-10 min bicycle ride from the gite where you can enjoy the beautiful gardens and feed the deer. For children the outdoor space at the gite is also excellent - this includes a plunge pool, space to run about and play football and ride bikes. All in all an excellent place to enjoy a family holiday.

Beautiful Gite
Myself & husband stayed in this beautiful gite. We couldn't fault it. It was spotlessly clean and so well equipped. The kitchen wanted for nothing just like the rest of the gite.
Great quiet area but within very easy reach of places of interest and to eat.
The owners were very welcoming and a little starter pack was a lovely touch.
We highly recommend this gite and if you're thinking of booking you'll not be disappointed in any way.
Perfect gite in every way.

An excellent location, extremely peaceful and relaxing just what we required. The accommodation was extremely clean and very combatable with all amities provided. We especially loved the welcome hamper,with Pizzas on arrival going down a treat with hungry kids after a long journey. Attention to detail was second to none with everything extremely well thought out making it suitable for families of all ages, we will definitely re visit.

Total tranquillity
We can only endorse the comments of previous guests, this is a beautifully and comprehensively appointed gite in a very tranquil setting with an abundance of places to visit and things to do nearby. We spent a happy relaxing week enjoying all th comforts of home (including a roaring wood burner in the living room on the one chilly wet day) while kidding ourselves we were keeping fit with cycle trips round about. The back roads were all but empty and there are miles of woodland paths to explore often with signposted cycle routes, all a treat for the senses. Our compliments to Iris and Derrick on their warm hospitality and the thought that has gone into making sure their guests lack nothing, a truly memorable holiday.
