Final guidance to the cottage will be provided via telephone on zero seven five eight five one two zero six one three.
On arrival I will give a full introduction to the cottage will be provided and any local information they desire.
We stayed here for 3 nights to attend a family event in the locality and could not have been happier with the cottage. Gordon and Gillian were excellent friendly hosts and the cottage is very thoughtfully kitted out with lots of little extras to make a true “home away from home” stay. It was the best equipped kitchen i’ve encountered in a
rental home. The cottage is warm and cosy and our boys were delighted to be within walking distance of the local shop and playground. Beds were very comfy - we all slept like babies and it was wonderfully clean with plenty of extra towels etc. provided. The morning view from the front door looking over Spittal Hill is particularly stunning too!

A wonderful time yet again
Yet another brilliant time here at Kinross. Our fifth visit and as usual everything was perfect. The cottage is immaculatey clean, well equipped and lovely comfortable beds. Gordon and Gillian work very hard to present a home from home for a relaxing holiday. We are back next year and many more hopefully. Lovely couple, great location and almost feels like my second home

Difficult to beat it!
Back for a 5th visit of a months stay. Cottage spotless, beautifully equipped and fitted out. Looking forward to next time. Thank you Gordon and Gillian.

Excellent Choice of Accomodation
Just returned from a 2 week stay at Kinross cottage, from the booking communication to the end of my stay I can’t thank Gordon and Gillian enough for their very warm welcome, they were always contactable for information if required. The cottage is very clean and kept in immaculate condition and is set in a quite rural location with gardens which are well kept. A short walk takes you into the village. The cottage is very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom which has a large shower base and a powerful shower. There is ample heating available if required with constant hot water available, most important for me is the Wi-Fi in the cottage which is included and has a fast-stable connection. Anybody looking for a base to explore Caithness this is an excellent choice of accommodation.

Great Location
Gordon and Gillian are a lovely couple, very friendly and welcoming. They left us to get on with our holiday but we’re there if needed anything.
The property is in a great location with easy access to areas within Caithness that you want to visit.
Garden was well looked after and maintained, was refreshing to sit out on the garden bench or chairs to enjoy the tranquilsetting, beautiful garden, view and the sun. There is a driveway to park the car which was useful.
We liked the fact that the property included many items that you didn’t have to worry about purchasing yourself. This really helped and made the start of our holiday easier.
We have given the ratings 3 stars because when we arrived although the property had been cleaned some areas seemed to have been missed and this caused an issue with my husbands health. We did raise this with Gordon and Gillian who are now looking into this to improve for all future customers, so don’t let that put you off. We would still recommend the property.

3 stars seems harsh considering all the good points. It is difficult to cater for someone with asthma especially when you don’t know. But fair enough there was dust on top of the wardrobe, which has been removed. The small amount of dust on other surfaces was continuously occurring due to the hot dry conditions and the windows open. But I am sorry Tim suffered an asthma attack but having asthmatics in my family it is very difficult to determine the cause. We have many returning guests and have had many praising reviews. We also have the cottage left in various conditions of cleanliness but take it on the chin as we did this time. I will leave it to other readers to determine the balance between this one and the others.

Just home from a great 4 nights at Kinross cottage. Gordon was very welcoming and even had milk in fridge for us. The cottage was lovely, myself and husband and my parents were very happy here. Central to do everything we wanted and had all the essentials and more to cook and be very comfortable including a good DVD, book and game selection. The beds were comfy too so we all got good sleeps. Lovely hearing the birds in the morning. Would highly recommend and would return in the future.

everything we could have wanted - perfect holiday home
Gordon and Gill extremely helpful and their cottage is well equipped and cosy. We needed a peaceful break after Christmas work load and the cottage and surrounding countryside and coastline provided this for us. We will definitely want to return

Home from Home
The cottage is set in a lovely quite location on the edge of the village which has a general store and a hotel within walking distance. The location is in a perfect location for exploring Caithness. On arrival we received an extremely warm welcome from the owners Gordon & Gillian. The cottage is kept in immaculate condition and well equipped with ample heating if required with hot water always available. Free fast Wi-Fi was available in the cottage which is now essential in my opinion. The garden at the front of the cottage is well kept and contributes to the view from the cottage. Gordon & Gillian are always available for assistance and although they live adjacent to the cottage they were not intrusive to our break.

Clean and well maintaned cottage
Very clean and tidy cottage. Free Wi-Fi. Nice welcome by the owner Gordon Graham. Had everything we needed like a washing machine and drier. Huge tv in the living room with two couches we could relex on. The only thing we kind of missed was some hooks in the hallway to hang our coats.
