Comfortable, well-equipped home from home.
From first entering the cottage you know that it is just what you need for a week, or two in one of the best villages in Scotland. The beach is 20 minutes walk, 2 pubs are 5 minutes away and you can explore the Borders from Coldingham. The cottage is very well appointed with Smart TV, WiFi, Comfortable beds, outdoor furniture, books and music, and a great use and replace policy for the kitchen. The cottage is great for a couple or small family and is a real home from home. It takes only one trip to the village or beach to then feel like you are coming home. Thanks Milda

A Gem
Stayed in Thornbank Cottage for a weekend to celebrate my hubbies 40th. Loved the cottage, loved the village of Coldingham with its 2 pubs, a spar and a caravan park. The house itself was immaculate with everything you could need provided. The owner Milda was very friendly and helpful. Edinburgh is just under an hour away so spent Saturday there shopping. Will definitely be booking again, maybe in the winter to take advantage of the lovely wood burner.

Home from home
We enjoyed a brilliant stay with our one year old baby. The cottage is just like the pictures and description, so can't really add much! Highlight for us was the sunroom/conservatory and the well equipped kitchen.

Lovely stay in a very comfortable cottage
We had a lovely long weekend stay in this super cottage. The place is very well equipped with comfortable beds, a cosy log burner and a very nice sunroom. Well located in Coldingham with easy access to the A1 for traveling to Northumberland or north to Edinburgh. Excellent communication with owner. Would recommend this property

Perfect & spotless
My wife is fanatically clean and it's always going to be a good holiday when she announces 'this place is spotless' 5 mins after walking through the door'. It was and it was very well equipped. We have stayed in several cottages throughout Scotland, mainly on the West Coast, this was the best equipped. Mind you we didn't really do anything other than make toast, cook a pizza and open bottles of beer and wine. But if we wanted to we would have had no problem cooking up anything we fancied. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and the area. Coldingham is a quaint little village, with a small well stocked shop, with a cash machine, £1.85 fee, plus two pubs that sell food. St Abbas is a nice little harbour village, not so keen on Eyemouth, but it seemed you would have plenty of choice for restaurant there. Pleanty walking routes are available on costal paths, but as it was Easter and either snowing or raining, we preferred to take a short walk to the pubs, or an even shorter walk to the fridge for booze and keep cosy in this lovely cottage.
