Almost every aspect of village life is covered by some form of mutual assistance like harvesting, water distribution, and planting rice.

A comfortable and safe home. Feeling in my own home. With a little Javanese and modern nuances. We can also cycle around villages that are still rural. This inn is highly recommended for backpackers or families. The owner was friendly and pleasant.

Omah Mentaram is right in the middle of rice field and has only one neighbour. After 6 pm it will be normally so quiet. Only the sound of crickets, grasshoppers, and frogs lullabying you till morning, then you wake up to enjoy a rising sun while you can see Merapi Volcano from a far.
How to get there
Omah Mentaram is easy to find by taxi, private car, or motorbike. It is close close to some places: -10 minutes walking to find Kedapi, the closest nice restaurant or DM mini market to find daily needs. -10 minutes to Giwangan Bus Station.
