As we live roughly 120 mile away from the village, unfortunately it is not possible for us to welcome you in person. However we do send a 'Welcome' email roughly 4 weeks before your arrival date with all the information you will need, so please be sure to read it fully. We do have caretakers just a phone call away in Porthmadog, on hand to deal with any queries you may have during your stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge, it was such a great place for us and our two labradors to take a break from our busy lives! The lodge was lovely and warm, despite the very cold temperatures outside and in excellent condition. Kathryn...More

About the neighborhood
Situated on the tranquil Trawsfynydd Holiday Village, North Wales. On a hillside surrounded by mature trees boasting some of the most stunning mountain views and amazing sunsets directly from the cabin window or decking. Turn the lights down low, at dusk, to watch the Bats as they swoop across the window catching insects. Gaze in wonder at a clear nights sky, you might even see a falling star, If you do, remember to make a wish!

Although there is a limited bus service which runs along the A470 . The best way to get around is by car.

How to get there
Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is located in Bronaber, approx 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd. It is conveniently located just off the A470 in Gwynedd, 10 miles north of Dolgellau and 14 miles south of Porthmadog. We are approximately 2 hours drive from Liverpool, Manchester, Shrewsbury and the Midlands.

Approaching from the Liverpool/Chester area:
Take the A494 to Bala then turn right onto the A4212 to Trawsfynydd. Turn left on the A470 heading to Dolgellau. The Holiday Village is two miles on the left at Bronaber.

Approaching from the Shrewsbury area:
Turn left on to the A458 to Dolgellau where you will join up with the A470. Carry on this road bypassing Dolgellau town and carry on for a further eleven miles. The Holiday Vil
