About the neighborhood
Solva is situated on the West Wales coast 4miles from St Davids and it's mediaeval catherdral. It is an ideal place to walk being on the Pembrokeshire long distance coast path with it's ever changing seascape. There are also lots of paths through the village and surrounding area. There is a coastal bus service which operates all year round ( check times before setting out) making it possible, with some planning, to leave the car behind. The harbour is tidal and at full tide a popular passtime with the children is crab fishing - not for eating they are safely returned to the sea.

An excellent area for cycling being on the Sustrans route 4 and there are lots of quiet lanes.
Boats trips and other water activities such as coasteering and caneoing can be arranged in St Davids.
