I booked here as a surprise for my partners birthday. I was so happy to find out dogs are welcome and they are very family friendly. We were worried about taking our 4 month old baby in January but the lodge had full heating and was lovely and warm. The lodge had everything we needed, Sam and Ruth had thought of it all. There are good walks in the area so we could walk the dog but he enjoyed playing in the field where the lodge is. I cannot recommend this place enough if you just want to get away and relax. Overall it was a perfect stay and my partner has said he would like me to book it again for next year.

To say my partner and I enjoyed our stay at pine lodge last weekend would be an understatement - we absolutely LOVED it and really made the most of what this beautiful cabin in the woodlands offers. After climbing the Brecon Beacons in the afternoon, it was the most perfect place to get back to and really unwind and relax in peace. Sam and Ruth really have got it spot on - from the lovely welcome pack with a booklet on everything you need to know about the cabin and surrounding areas, the appliances provided, fluffy towels, hot tub and even down to having both Netflix and Prime on the television ready for the perfect chill which all add to that "perfect getaway". We really enjoyed the cosiness of the place and although we were only a 25 minute drive away from where we live, spending the night in pine lodge really did give us that feeling of being in the middle of nowhere where we could completely switch off from our busy home and work life and enjoy quality time together away from the daily chaos :). Self check-in and out made easy, the cabin was beautiful and clean and hot tub all prepped ready to go! Highly recommend staying here to anyone, especially couples/families. Thank you for a great stay last weekend ! Our children and the dog absolutely loves it. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a family. The hot tub was a great extra and a lush treat ! Even though we live locally it felt like we were ages away from home. The cabin was clean, cosy and felt like home! Thank you for the gorgeous welcome gift and the Prosecco! We will definitely be visiting again!

Amazing weekend break for me and the family, these cabins have everything you need and want! perfect location, perfect scenery, grass pitch and goals for the kids and a stunning hot tub to chill in anytime of the day! Also dog friendly which was brilliant! 1000% be coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend break!

What a fabulous little place you have here. We wanted a chilled weekend and that’s exactly what we had. I’ve come home feeling relaxed. The hosts are really friendly and are on hand if you need anything. Thr lodge itself is beautifully done out and spotlessly clean. The hottub was spotless and checked each morning. If you want a relaxing break (but close enough to amenities) you will be in for a treat here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow! Just returned from an amazing weekend in Pine Lodge with my partner and our daughter! I can honestly say we have had the best time away. The lodge is in such a great location, it is perfect for a relaxing getaway and for exploring South Wales. It is such a relaxing and chilled out space that was really clean and tidy. We cannot fault the lodge at all!! It has all the amenities that would need for a your break, with the added bonus of a hot tub. (This is perfect for an evening of star gazing on a clear night.) The owners are also really friendly and helpful, they assisted us with planning some days out which included going to ZipWorld . We already cannot wait to go back and will be booking again very soon!!

Booked our stay as a quiet get away and a break from work & we were not disappointed! The lodge was immaculate and we had everything we needed. The open space outside was perfect to let the dogs run around and play without having to worry about them getting out as it’s gated off. The hot tub was amazing, just what we needed to relax after spending the day exploring local waterfalls, beaches, and the chimpanzee sanctuary! An absolutely perfect little holiday & we can’t wait to come back!

Lovely place, super relaxing, log cabin was so spacious and super clean, me and my partner really enjoyed and couldn’t get enough of the hot tub, both can’t wait to come back and stay again

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Great location. Lovely walks around the lodges. Rooms are spacious. Perfect for couples or families. On route some lovely pubs/restaurants Dyffryn arms is around 20 min walk and Glyn Clydach hotel around half hour. The hot tub is a lovely touch to relax in the peacefulness. Will definitely return.
