My wife and I have been going to the Westin St John Resort for over 20 years now. While St John VI is recovering the St John Westin will be back up and running by January 4, 2019. It is a very nice resort and the rental price we are asking includes the resort fee and a guest certificate. This is our 2 bedroom unit at Bay Vista. We are only able to stay 10 days this year so we are looking to rent this 7 night 2 bedroom condo thats rack rate is $789.00 a night. It is almost impossible even for an owner to be able to get this desirable week (January 27 - Feb 3, 2019 at the nicest resort on St John. About the neighborhood

We have been going to St John now for over 20 years. With the hurricanes of 2017 still impacting this beautiful island. It is on the rebound. I will be staying in February also but can't stay as long as I want to. So that is why we are putting this 2 bedroom villa up for rent January 27 - February , 2019 I have been told that the island is recovering and that the Westin will be accepting reservations after January 4. As owners I was able to reserve this high demand week during January - February 2019. especially since the resort was closed for the whole year of 2018. Many people are trying to get this week for their vacation and also to help support the local economy (which depends so much on tourism). The people are very friendly

Getting around

We always use the open area taxis to get around or there is also public bus transportation available, Many days my wife and I enjoy the 1 mile walk from the Westin to Cruz Bay. But of course a taxi is only 5-7 dollars and much easier to do especially after a few rum punches.

My wife and I always flying in St Thomas and take the high speed ferry that can be arrange with transportation by taxi from airport to the ferry boat.
