The Unit: Your 900 sq. ft. two-story villa sleeps up to 6 comfortably, whether they be family or friends. It features a Caribbean decor in an open floor plan, with cathedral ceilings upstairs. The lower floor consists of a fully equipped kitchenette, dining area, and sitting area with a flat screen TV and queen size sofa/bed.
Upstairs there is a king size bed, TV, and another sitting area with a queen size sofa/bed. Both floors have a private balcony with a fabulous down-island view. There is a full bathroom on both floors.
A short walk to the marina at Sapphire Beach offers day cruises including snorkeling excursions, trips to the BVI, deep-sea fishing and scuba diving. Some boats are power, some are sail. You can also rent a jet ski or go parasailing.
Red Hook (small town 1/2 mile away): Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be enjoyed after a 5-minute taxi ride into Red Hook at one of the many restaurants. Menus range from burgers and fries to exotic Caribbean seafood dishes Molly Malone’s on the waterfront (it’s one of our favorites). There are also 2 modern supermarket (The Food Center and Moe's) where you can provision up if you prefer to eat at home. If you don't want to leave the beach, there is also a small refreshment stand between buildings B&C at Sapphire serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, soft drinks, beer and tropical drinks (hours: 11AM-PM).
Plan on taking the 20-minute ferry ride out of Red Hook to Cruz Bay. St. John’s main town, for shopping, a tour of the island or snorkeling in Trunk Bay with it’s underwater reef markers which describe the coral. The last time we took the ferry it was $7/person each way. You can also catch a ferry to Tortola or Virgin Gorda in the BVI from Red Hook (bring your passport, you will have to clear customs).
Charlotte Amalie (USVI Capital): The 20-minute taxi ride is well worth the trip to Charlotte Amalie to explore the narrow streets called allies or gades for even more eating and duty free shopping. For additional shopping, try the newly built upscale Yacht Harbor Grande or Havensight where the cruise ships dock. There is also a “vendors market” offering inexpensive t-shirts, handbags, island jewelry and artifacts and more. If shopping’s not your thing, explore the many historical landmark buildings through out Charlotte Amalie.
Other things to do include a trip to Mountain Top, the highest point on the island for one of their “world famous” banana daiquiris and spectacular views of Magen’s Bay and beyond, the Coral World aquarium (about 10 minute from Sapphire), a zip line through the jungle, and the Sky Ride gondola ride to Paradise Point above the cruise ship dock. Paradise Point offers panoramic views of Charlotte Amalie.

An absolutely beautiful view of the the bay from the balconies. Location is fantastic, kids had a two minute walk across the parking to the marina to go parasailing. A very short drive to the ferry to St. John and into Red Hook for shopping and dining. Condo had all we needed and more for a very relaxing, amazing, vacation.

It was good
Water was nice, parasailing was fun, the ferry ride to St. John was ok, but it was steamy hot and many places we wanted to visit were closed
The keyless entry did not work and the smoke alarms did not work not were reported early and were not fixed at the end of the week. Cold showers the first two days.

Absolutely Amazing !
With our family of 6, we had an absolute amazing trip. This place is stunning with a view that is breath taking. The beach is accessible immediately and is so beautiful.The island has a lot to offer. We highly recommend this place. In addition, communication from John, the owner is perfect !

Fantastic view, wonderful family accommodations
We had a wonderful time. Condo had everything we needed. The view was spectacular! Red Hook had many restaurants and the ferry to St. John was so convenient. We borrowed snorkel gear and saw a ton of beautiful fish 50 feet off our door step. Pool was great for the kids!!. See picture of the sunrise our first day from the balcony!!!

Best Stay in St. Thomas Yet
Condo was perfectly situated at one of the nicest beaches on the island. In our opinion the unit was in the best building at Sapphire with easy access to pool and slightly removed from beach bar. Nice and quiet but still easy to get to on site cafe, laundry, reception etc. Access to amenities at Red Hook was closer than imagined. View of St. John and BVI every morning from the balcony with coffee was wonderful. Our family of 5 had one of the best vacations ever and our host John was attentive and helpful from booking through departure. No problems, great time. Will definitely be back.

This is a great place to stay.
This property is a very nice,safe and clean place to stay. The owner did a great job with the communication about the property. The property it's self has beautiful views from both the balconies. It's close to the town of red hook which has most everything to help with enjoying your stay. Bring your clothes and food. ENJOY!

Perfect relaxing vacation, great accommodations!
My wife and I stayed in this rental for a little getaway vacation and the condo and surrounding complex were perfect. The rental was very clean and we enjoyed having the kitchen to make breakfasts and enjoy on our balcony. View from the balcony was of the pool and the ocean, as well as St. John in the distance and the British Virgin Islands in the far distance. It was a perfect place to enjoy breakfast in the morning, a book in the afternoon and drinks any time. The beach bar in the community was perfect as well. It was open air, right on the beach and we especially liked the couches and canopies they had set up right next to the bar and the live music stage. Snorkeling was great right off the beach and the water was so nice that we didn't feel the need to get in the pool, although it looked very nice as well. The location of the condo was great for running into Red Hook to get supplies and to have dinner and drinks. It's less than 5 minutes drive.
John, the owner, was very thorough in the information he provided and we felt genuinely concerned that we had a good stay and that everything was in good order. We would love to stay here again in the future and would recommended this rental to everyone!

Thank you for the great review Adam! I think your description was "spot on". You are welcome back any time. Hopefully, next time you will be able to bring your children. It's a great place for kids. We rent to a lot of families with children. When you think about it, it's a relatively cost effective vacation for families as we don't charge extra for additional guests.

Best views for relaxation
A perfect location with amazing views. We found our views beat so many other locations on the island as we traveled. Snorkeling was easy just off the beach. The beach is large and well groomed. The public beach is walking distance and also has nice beach and fun to be in.
This condo had everything we needed for beds, seating and all in good shape. Large TV for evening movies. Close to grocery store, ferries to St. John, boat tours and easy to get around the area. Entire complex is safe, comfortable and well kept.
Bottom line is we enjoyed staying in our condo on a partly rainy day and watch the clouds, rain and sun, then rain, then sun, colors in the waters. So pretty!

Breathtaking Views!!!
Great 2 bathroom condo, very spacious, had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful!! We loved the 2 balconies that overlooked the pool!
John sent us some great info before we left about the island. I felt very comfortable that we would find anything we needed to. I would definitely stay here again!!

PARADISE
St. Thomas is most definitely Paradise, & John's condo topped off this paradise trip. The condo is very roomy & has everything one needs. I love the loft bedroom upstairs with the balcony. The bedroom is huge & very comfy & the bed was comfy as well. I, also, loved having 2 bathrooms, as this allowed for a no wait peroid for us. John's condo is in the perfect location, as you are right by the pool, right in the main area of the beach, & only steps from the beach grill restaurant on the beach. The pics are true to what you will experience upon arrival. Everything about the condo is GREAT!! John is very attentive to his renters & may check in with you during the trip to make sure you have everything you need, as well as following up after the trip to make sure everything went well during your stay. He even sends literature prior to your trip, once you book, to give you insight about the island, the different places to eat, as well as things to do on the island (Thanks John, as that really helped us out). The only suggestion I would add is that the setup of the lighting in the kitchen area was not as bright as I would have liked it. The dinning area & breakfast nook lights are connected together & when the dinning area light is dimmed, it dims the breakfast nook lights in the kitchen area as well. This is not a complaint at all, I am an individual who just loves brightness in my kitchen. I will not even bother looking into renting another condo upon my return. I will most definitely rent from John again....AS THIS IS THE HOT SPOT & JOHN IS A PHENOMENAL PERSON! Thank you John for the comfy of your lovely condo & attentiveness to your customers. I will be in contact upon planning my next visit!!!

As far as the lighting in the kitchen goes, I couldn't agree with you more! Unfortunately, the contractor that remodeled our kitchen took it upon himself to put the kitchen and dining nook lights on the same circuit. We've looked into changing it but it would cost a fortune to do so.

Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina is located directly on the 1/2 mile long white sand beach known as Sapphire Beach on the eastern end of St. Thomas about a 20 min. ride from Cyril E. King airport. The resort consists of 6 four story buildings and a marina. Our condo is directly above the bi-level pool. Sapphire Beach is said to be the most beautiful beach on St. Thomas! The marina offers day cruises (both sail and motor), deep sea fishing, jet ski rental and parasailing. The small dive shop on the beach rents beach toys such as wind surfers, paddle boats and snorkel gear.
The resort is approx. 1 mile outside of the small town of Red Hook which offers about a dozen restaurants ranging from pizza and hamburger places to fine dining. Red Hook is also home to the ferry dock where you can catch a ferry to St. John or the British Virgin Island. Red Hook also has a harbor which provides for bare boat charters and daily small craft rentals.

Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina is located on the east end of St. Thomas about 10 miles (20 mins.) from the airport. Finding the resort is relatively easy but the roads are windy and up and down.
