Como la mayoria de los complejos Marriott , las unidades son espaciosas , con buena distribucion y se encuentran en perfecto estado
La pileta es chica con respecto a la cantidad de departamentos que hay y mas teniendo en cuenta que la playa del complejo tambien es chica .
Esta la opcion de ir hasta el hotel ( que esta sobre el acantilado ) o a la playa que poseen ( Morningstar Beach ) que te transportan con un Shuttle . Es mejor esta que la del hotel mismo .

A fun yet relaxing headquarters for a great vacation
The unit we had was newly renovated; very tropical. The beds were extremely comfortable, with soft, supportive pillows. The kitchen was well supplied and clean. We were right above the pool area, but the noise wasn't really noticeable as most of the kids were gone by sunset. There was always an activity 'du jour' by the pool, normally accompanied by music. The restaurant had a decent menu, but the breakfast buffet was rather limited, although you could get your eggs cooked to order. Mimosas were included.
The beach is large enough with a water trampoline for the kids, and a dock for diving. There are also some small reef areas for local snorkeling, although the water was so clear we could just stand there and watch the fish. The property has a nice infinity pool, but I spent my mornings a few yards away in the ocean, watching the sun rise (and a few sunsets).
I recommend at least one night taking the shuttle over to the Blue Havana restaurant at the associated Marriot Frenchmans Reef. Very good Cuban-inspired food and a beautiful place to watch the sunset from.

Excellent Resort for Total Relaxation!
My husband and I just returned from a one week stay at Frenchman's Cove. We traded into the resort from our home resort in Palm Springs, using Interval International and were very excited that Frenchman's Cove was available because it is usually very difficult to book. We were (I am very happy to say) given the unit we requested which was the 5th floor of St. John's Building, with lovely views of the ocean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and as with all of the properties in our Marriott experience, our 2 bedroom villa was clean, lovely and very comfortable. Because that particular building is the farthest from the pool area, It was necessary to use three elevators to get down to the pool, but that was not a problem. We did not experience any long waits, as some guests have reported during busier times of the year. We also particularly enjoyed the night kayak trip out in front of the resort. The clear acrylic two person kayaks are lit with LED lights at night and very nice guides lead the group around the bay, highlighting fish and other points of interest. The only down side of the trip to St. Thomas, which had nothing to do with our great accommodations, were just two things....ONE...Even though I took the advice of several other reviewers and brought along not only citronella candles for our balcony, wore citronella bracelets, and used bug repellent, I was still mercilessly chewed up all over by sand fleas all week long. I have since learned that it is often helpful to take Vitamin B-1 tablets for two weeks prior to the visit and will do so in any future visit to that area. TWO...be prepared for lots of bumpy roads and slow downs when out driving around the island!. The roads are in very poor condition on St. Thomas and there was a lot of (kind of/sort of) road repair going on. In closing....if you like rum....be sure to go to Gourmet Gallery in Havensight Mall, which is just down the hill at the Cruise Ship terminal, which is very close to the resort, and stock up on their yummy Cruzan Coconut Rum. It is absolutely delicious! Lovely resort, crystal clear ocean, plenty of beach and pool chaises, and yummy beverages...total relaxation....a really super nice place to vacation!.
