Cottage
Pant is stunning traditional Welsh stone cottage, extended and renovated to an exceptionally high standard. It sits in a peaceful countryside setting lying to the North coastal side of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, standing within its own extensive grounds enjoying open countryside views. Internally the property is presented to an exacting specification combining modern contemporary living with character features of a traditional Welsh cottage.
I've tried to capture the cottage as best I can in the photos but they don't really do the place justice - its even better in real life as the many reviews will confirm!
The cottage benefits from BT's ultrafast internet with speeds of 150Mb!!
Use of Amazon Alexa which allows you to play up to 30 million different songs in the lounge and kitche...

An amazing luxury-standard haven and wonderfu peaceful escape !
We spent a week at this stunning house called 'Pant' leading up to Easter Sunday .Myself, my husband, and our two teenagers, plus my brother and husband's sister and brother-in-law came to stay too. The adullts are all in our late 40's. One of our best holidays ever and we have been all over Europs and even have our own place in Spain. The peace and tranquility of the location was truly superb.
This is an amazing property and holiday home. Immaculate and clean throughout. Beautiful bedding and towels. We cannot recommend the place enough and it is a total credit to the owner. We were thrilled from the outset with all the wonderful information provided by Andrew the owner plus the directions given were great too. The property has been renovated to an extremely high standard throughout. Everything is just perfect. The kitchen /open plan dining area was utterly delightful and even nicer/bigger than the already good photos on the site. The wall to ceiling glass windows have doors opening out on to the additional eating area oustdie on a decked area overlooking the gorgeous expanse of lawned area.
The house boasts a luxury bathroom plus an en-suite shower room. There is beatuiful slate floor tiling throughout the whole house with underground heating which was just lovely. It was very warm and so comfortable, we turned the underground heating off after a day or two..
Excellent quality furniture, furnishings, beds , crockery and utensils etc too. Incredible music system throughout the house.
WIth the owner's permission we took our small friendly dog Buddy who slept soundly in his bed in the kitchen. He adored the superb large garden and played football with us too and ejoyed chasing us playing badminton and boules in the garden. The kids loved the big trampoline too! The owner has a big box poutside with games and equipment .
The 2 teenagers (16 and 13) enjoyed the room with the 'crog' loft. Again this is hard to appreciate from the photos but it has 2 lovely single beds and own televison in the room which the kids liked for their own use - and up the stairs to a sort of mezzanine level there are 2 single mattresses in the eaves called the 'crog loft' - so they shared this room with one upstairs and one downstairs. A great room for up to 4 children or in our case one boy upstairs and one girl downstairs! Even some 'AS' level revision was completed successfully during our stay as there was plenty of space for eveyone to 'do their own thing' occasionally.
The other 2 delighful double bedrooms are beautifully appointed and furnished to a very high standard. The French doors leading outside to the decking from the master bedroom we enjoyed at night sitting out with a bottle of wine.
We all enjoyed the board games too and played cards, chess and Trivial Pursuit just chilling out with the family and we had a couple of lovely barbequea early evening too. The weather during our week was incredibly hot and we went to a variety of beaches each day: Whistling Sands, Aberdaron, Nefyn, Abersoch etc. We all came back home to Warrington, Cheshire with amazing tans! My older brother reminded me we had holidayed nearby as young kids 40 years ago ! and we had played on Whistlng Sands beach. My husband had holidayed with his sister and played tennis on Nefyn beach similary, so it was incredible to re-live all these family memories.
We visited the famous beach bar called the Ty Coch - apparently voted the 3rd best beach bar in the world! and is only 10 mins drive away. And we loved Abersoch with all its lovely trendy bars and shops etc We had 2 fabulous meals out in Aberdaron at 'The Ship' which was super quality and service
We were unbale to use the hot tub as it isn't filled up until Summer months from June I think.... - but with the surprise hot weatherr we got in April we would have happily gone in the hot tub every evening given the chance. We have been back in touch with Andrew the owner and we are definitely going to book to return to stay at Pant - and maybe with a group of friends. To be able to cook, eat in, eat out, socialise, chill out and use the hot tub etc and all other the facilities this fabulous property offers is ideal. And all the 'out and about stuff' also perfectly hits the mark for a fun but relaxing time.
Total peace and quiet. Internet and mobile phone reception at the bottom of the lane by the post box -so I could conduct my small business affairs morning and night easily but have undisturbed quality time with the family at the house..
100% delighted with this holiday home. Our best UK holiday ever! Superb value for money.
Hope this review helps people appreciate just how superb this place is.

Tranquillity with modern amenities in North Wales
Our family of 3 adults, 2 kids and one dog stayed here in Easter 2014. We found the cottage very easily and loved it instantly. The kitchen was amazing with every thing you could want. The lounge was cosy but with great tv and ps3. All 3 bedrooms were fab with our master having en suite. The kids loved the secret loft in theirs. Outside was spacious with decking, football pitch, jacuzzi and treehouse! We visited all the local beaches with Aberdaron and Whistling sands a must, both within 10 mins drive. Pwhelli and Abersoch are a further 15 mins away for more exploring. We took bikes and enjoyed the lanes. Finally for something different, visit the pottery in the village of Sarn, 5 mins. A lovely man with a great story throws all the pottery and is of a high standard

Contempory spacious luxury accommodation away from the madding crowds
We visited Pant at Easter, when the weather was surprisingly warm and enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable break with family. The house is situated in a rural location within easy reach of Aberdaron and all the other attractions of the Lyn peninsular.. It had been tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard with lots of space and ideal for family/friend get togethers. The outside area was very large and had two patio areas, for maximum exposure to the sun. It was unfortunate that the hot tub could not be used, but it would be very nice to revisit in the summer time to be able to enjoy.

Luxury cottage in peaceful surroundings
I very much enjoyed my short stay with my sister and family. The cottage is spacious and decorated to a very high standard (oak doors and skirting with slate flooring). The well equipped kitchen diner is in a lovely extension to the original cottage with practical granite worktops. My bedroom was lovely with very comfortable bed and bedding. The whole house has been thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need. The Lynn peninsular is a great place to spend a few days with plenty to do and see.

Lovely
Long weekend in this cottage. The cottage was clean, finished to a high standard, comfortable, well equipped, plenty of space to park. Decking area outside and large lawn. I don't think the pictures shown do the cottage justice, the kitchen is filled with natural light, the bedrooms are not as dark as shown either. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend to family and friends.

A SECOND VISIT - EVEN MORE FABULOUS WITH HOT TUB !
Just got back from Pant thoroughly enjoying a week from the Eastre Bank Holiday Monday.
What a wonderful time we have all had enjoying this amazing secret holiday haven near to Aberdaron. We stayed at Pant last year but this time the hot tub was fully operational and we used it EVERY day - even at night time when it was cold outside but gorgeous and hot in the bubbles under the stars!! The owner gave us easy instructions in advance about how to check the chemicals and chorine levels etc and so it was kept lovely and clean and self filters and cleans every day.
The accomodation is truly superb and top quality at this house. Totally modernised. The Master bedroom has patio doors leading our to the decking and hot tub. The lounge and kitchen area are just beautiful.
The owner now has Wifi at the house so that kept the teenagares very happy. My brother visited for 2 days and 2 friends from Chester visted us too.
We visited Aldred at the pottery again in Sarn nearby, and bought some of his beautiful unique pottery. Expensive but well worth it when you learn he is 68 and had a stroke some years ago and creates his pottery with little use in one arm..
We went to Aberdaron beach for great fish and chips ! and Whistling Sands beach too. Also visited the Ty Coch (Red House) famous pub on Nefyn beach. And the weather was just amazing and we came back with a tan. " Our little dog Buddy has come home with sore paws from all the beach walking and chasing his ball into the sea and then more again back in the huge gaden at Pant with a football!
The gas BBQ was put to use twice whilst we we there. Great eating areas outside and inside
Andrew - thanks again for letting us rent your beautiful holiday home. We will be back!

LUXURY, PEACE & LOCATION
Our 2nd visit and this time there ws the bonus of WiFi and the Hot Tub! The cottage seemed bigger than I'd remebered with enough space for all family and friends who visited during the week we stayed. With 3 bedrooms and and a sofabed in the lounge we had between 8 and 10 people. Loved the "Weber" bbq and and sitting outside in the garden on the fab furniture.
As for the hot tub, i think i may have overdone it with dips in the morning after breakfast, after bike rides and late at night with the led lights on and a shandy in hand.
Visited the beaches of Aberdaron, Llanbedrog and Morfa Nefyn and the famous Ty Coch pub along the headland.
Weather was superb and came back from Wales with a tan!
Will certainly book again.

Sun, sea, sand and wonderful Wales
Had an extremely pleasant stay in Pant (around the 8th/12th April). This cottage mixes the old with the new in a secluded location and is ideally placed between Abersoch and Aberdarron. It is perfect for exploring the Llyn peninsula and its beaches. The cottage is equipped with a large kitchen diner that opens out onto a patio area, which is great for alfresco dining. There are 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles (1 en suite) and a bedroom with a loft area which holds another bed. So plenty of room!! A large living room finishes off the inside. Decor is to a high standard through out. As if this was not enough, outside is a hot tub that fits four plus. A perfect way to finish off an evening after discovering wonderful Wales!

About the neighborhood
Pant lies in a delightful rural setting to the North coastal side of the peninsula lying some 0.5 miles along a country lane, off the main B4413 Pwllheli/Aberdaron Road.
The picturesque, historic village of Aberdaron lies to the tip of the peninsula about 4.5 miles distant, with several scenic coves and beaches to explore along the rugged coastline. There are two great pubs - the Gwesty Ty Newydd which fronts the beach and serves fantastic food, and The Ship which is just across the road which also serves great food.
Abersoch, perhaps the most well known village on the peninsula is about 20 minutes drive away. It has a number of boutique shops, beaches and upmarket restaurants.
Pwllheli is the main market town on the peninsula and is about 30 minutes drive away. It has a large supermarket and is perhaps the best place to stock up on food for the week.
Arguably the finest beach on the Llyn Peninsula - Whistling Sands - is just 4 miles away. There are also great beaches at Llanbedrog, Hells Mouth, Aberdaron, Abersoch, Porth Colmon, Tudweilliog - all less than 20 minutes drive away.
Getting around
The local villages and beaches can be reached by bike and you'll need you're car to reach Pwllheli and the attractions of Snowdonia.
Access

How to get there
The Llyn Peninsula is best reached by travelling along the A 55 dual carriageway through Conwy and then onto Caernarfon (both which have fantastic castles which are worth a visit on the way here). After Caernarfon, take the A499 towards Pwhelli (an ideal place to stop to stock up on food for the week) then onto Llanbedrog. In Llanbedrog take the B4413 towards Aberdaron. Turn right as you enter Pengroeslon and Pant is situated about 1/4 mile off this road.
