It felt homely. The following needs to be changed. New pillows & bed padding. I would definitely return & recommend this unit to friends & family. Even if you never see the owner there's a paper with well needed info in the unit for you.

We decided to add a few days of diving to our sailing vacation. The apartment was located halfway between the dive shop and the marina so we could walk where ever we needed to go. It was under 1/2 mile to the dive shop at Village Cay Marina and a little less to teh Morrings/Sunsail marina. Grocery stores and restaurants also within a 1/2 mile walk. Hard to review as Lisa the owner was so lovely and helpful. Beers and nibbles in fridge on arrival. The quality of facilities.However, apartment a bit tired .... needs revamp. Sunken sofa not comfy. Inadequate mosquito screens. Needs a/c throughout - no through draught and therefore uncomfortably hot. Mosquitos galore when door open. Bedroom a/c noisy but effective. Well stocked with all amenities. Wi-fi good and consistent. Private deck overlooks harbour but lots of rubbish...

Thank you for your review. I can report that the water pressure problem is being rectified next week so Tobacco Wharf will be able to offer it's residents high pressure water 24 hours a day. We enjoyed our stay here with a few exceptions. First off, there is no central air. A problem for some. There is an A/C unit in the bedroom and it worked great. For me, the breeze from the bay was enough for me, my girlfriend had a harder time. We did not prepare meals here. The Allamanda apartment at Tobacco Wharf is situated between The Moorings Marina (to the East) & Village Cay Marina (to the West). A five minute walk takes you to the centre Road Town where you can find restaurants, shopping & the capital's banking centre. The central location of the Allamanda apartment has enormous benefits to most visitors to the BVI. You will probably want to visit other islands as Tortola is surrounded by other sister Islands.
