We stayed at Emerald Crest with another couple for two weeks in early July. The property was very nice and the views were out of this world. All sitting together on the balconies outside our bedrooms with a drink and looking at the view while relaxing was great. We took a ferry to the Baths at Virgin Gorda, and chartered a catamaran for snorkeling and a visit to Sandy Spit and the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost van Dyke.
The evenings at 1000 ft above the ocean were always breezy and comfortable, not too hot, but days were plenty warm.
The downside is the ride up and down the mountain with hairpin turns, etc, but still only 12 minutes from the two closest beaches. Cane Garden Bay was wonderful, as well as Myett's restaurant there.
The property needs a few little touchups, but the owner's son, Greg, was always great in responding to any requests to correct things. We highly recommend staying here.
