About the neighborhood
The Keep Cool Guesthouse is located in Beausejour, an upper-middle class area. Generally, a very peaceful location to relax throughout the day. On occasion there is music from a live event at the cricket that can be heard. Just a four minute walk to the cricket stadium, a three minute drive to the Rodney Bay Marina, and five minutes to Rodney Bay or Gros Islet. We are only ten minutes from three different beaches, and the popular Pigeon Point National Park.
Getting around
The following are directions from the four primary ports of entry into St. Lucia. Do not worry if you don’t always see signs with road names or distance information, just follow the road, and you will get to the guesthouse. Yes, there are a lot of hills. Yes, there are parts that have winding tight turns. Yes, there are a lot of pot holes. Yes, you really do see people walking on the side of the highway. Drive carefully!

Hewanorra/Vieux Fort Airport – approx. 1.5 to 2 hours
Exit the airport, and turn left (north) onto the East Coast Road which is easy to follow since it is only two lanes. The road passes through Micoud and few very small communities. As you are approaching the town of Dennery, you

How to get there
When leaving any of the listed ports of entry, turn left (north) onto the road. Along your way to the guesthouse, you will also pass the other ports that are listed below your point of departure (e.g., traveling from the ferry, you will pass George F.L. Charles/Vigie Airport and Rodney Bay Marin en-route to the guesthouse).
- Hewanorra/Vieux Fort Airport (1.5 hours), continue on the highway towards Castries City Centre.
- Castries Ferry Wharf (35 minutes), follow the traffic signs to George F.L. Charles highway.
- George F.L. Charles/Vigie Airport (25 minutes), continue on the road toward Gros Islet (and Rodney Bay).
- Rodney Bay Marina (5 minutes) - go 210 meters/700 feet to Bella Rosa Road.
