Having traveled the world and worked extensively in the hospitality field I decided in September of 2014 to tap into this knowledge and experience and opened my home to guests. I redesigned my house to offer a fusion of the hominess of a guest house and the privacy and comfort of a small boutique hotel. Each of the 5 unique bedrooms is decorated with a blend of traditional creole and modern, complete with a private bathroom. A beautiful, fully-equipped studio apartment with covered private terrace is available as well. It comes with breath-taking sea views and sunsets of the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Excellent host

Colvin was a great host, he is a genuinely nice guy with bubbly personality who wants to show you his beloved island in its best. He will go out of the way to make sure you have the best time. He has a beautiful spacious clean house. It is home away from home. Colvin was efficient communicating with us when our ferry was delayed and still managed to pick us up on arrival although he had other commitments. He even upgraded us to a larger room with balcony - this was a real treat especially after such a long and tiring journey. As we arrived late eating places were closed and as such Colvin offered us some of his food so we didn't go to bed with empty stomachs. He was very flexible, friendly, nothing was too much trouble for him. He dropped us off for our diving day at Marigot Bay and collected us later after dinner. His breakfast were delicious and we enjoyed talking with him and sharing experiences. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Monika and her husband were the perfect guests to have. They were pleasant, easy to communicate with, kindhearted, and respectful. I enjoyed their company immensely.They will always be welcome at Colvin's B&B. i highly recommend them to any future host.

Good place, great host.

Colvin’s B&B is located near Castries, an easy 5-10 minute bus ride to/from town. The house itself is a comfortable, open space with a beautiful view of the ocean. But the real value is the owner, Colvin. He is multi-talented, a font of knowledge on local matters, a gifted chef who prepared a delicious New Year’s meal for the guests as well as hearty daily breakfasts. He also arranged many tourist-type activities for us such as trips to the volcano, sulfur baths and pitons in the south, along with local massage and other requests. Perhaps even more, he is a genuinely kind and good person who cares about his guests and his island.

About the neighborhood

There are local Restaurants, The Neighbourhood Supermarket, Bakery and Bar, all within five minutes walk. My next door neighbor has a company which provides Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Kayaking and Hiking. Colvin's B&B is in a friendly, upscale neighborhood and sits amidst a beautifully landscaped garden with tropical flowers and exotic fruit trees. Because of its' gently sloping hillside location with lush tropical plants, the temperature is always comfortable with pleasant breezes and it provides breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and renown, spectacular sunsets.
