The approximately 400 sq. ft. studio apartment has air conditioning and a ceiling fan. For much of the year there is enough tropical breeze blowing in that you won’t require either. There is a comfortable king size foam topped bed. The living area has a cozy love seat and dining area looking out at the sea.
The kitchen has a 2 burner glass cook-top, microwave, toaster, blender, small toaster oven and coffee maker. It is fully equipped with plenty of glasses, silverware, pots, pans and utensils.
The apartment has a wall mounted swivel, 40' flat screen cable television and a DVD player. Wifi is provided free of charge. The alarm clock is also an ipod docking station.
All linens and towels are provided- including beach towels. There are sand chairs for the beach as well as a small cooler. There is an iron and an ironing board. A coin operated laundry room is on the ground floor. There is also a hair dryer in the newly renovated travertine tiled bathroom.
Each floor has a separate key for the elevator and another for the stair-well which helps to ensure both security and privacy. The well maintained twelve story condominium is separated from the beach by only a decorative cement wall. A designated space in the gated parking area might be available ($10 per night) when arrangements are made at booking time. There is also limited on street parking and several parking lots nearby.
Tours out on the island can be arranged by the concierge desk at the Marriot Hotel, next door. Wind surfing, jet skiing, deep sea fishing, scuba diving are all available in the metropolitan area. A cyber cafe and several gyms are with-in the neighborhood. Virtually any activity you'd expect at a seaside resort can be found in San Juan
All you should need to bring with you is your clothing and your smile. The sun, surf and tropical breezes are all provided free. Anything else can be purchased from Walgreens, a block away on the corner or several small convenience stores are nearby. A well stocked larger grocery is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive.

I could go on and on about our stay. Everything was beyond PERFECT There are no hidden secrets or lies. Eric is a man of his word. All you need are your clothes and food (unless you're dining out). The safety is TOP-NOTCH. The view is breath-talking. The environment is very welcoming and full of life. You honestly enjoy your stay and get plenty of rest. My daughter and I are going back. WE LOVED IT. NO PROBLEMS. NO COMPLAINTS. JUST LOTS OF FUN, SUN, AND RELAXATION.

Perfect Unit in a Perfect Building
This was my second time staying in this building, but my first time staying in Eric's condo. His unit was nicer than the first unit I stayed in, with a slightly more convenient layout. I can't say enough about this building in general. It is BEACH FRONT, and you will have amazing views from sun up to sun down. There's cheap chair rentals right in front of the building (Eric provides beach chairs, but I prefer loungers, so we split our time between both). It is also centrally located with everything you can need within walking distance, including a 24-hour CVS and Walgreens, amazing restaurants and bars, and a Starbucks. The unit had everything we needed except for a coffee maker (there was one there, but it was either broken or we just couldn't figure out how to use it). We stayed for 8 nights and Eric was very responsive whenever we had a problem. The bed is EXTREMELY comfortable. The only thing that could be improved with this unit would be new outdoor furniture, as the chairs on the balcony have rusted a bit for the weather. I am already planning next year's trip to PR and would not hesitate to stay in Eric's rental if it is available.

Stunning Ocean Front View/Wonderful Location
I can't begin to say enough positives about our stay in Eric's lovely Condado Beachfront Studio and cannot wait for our return!!! From the moment you walk in and take in the stunning beachfront view to the moment you take a walk just steps away on the pristine beautifully maintained beach you will be in awe!!! Great location close to restaurants, bars, casinos and CVS for any item you might need. A very friendly, secure building. Eric has created an excellent and well-thought-out presentation for you to enjoy and is always available with quick response time for any questions his guests may have. My husband jokingly said "Don't tell any fellow travelers about this gem on Condado Beach because we want to make sure it's available for our return"!!!

Amazing condo on the ocean
Absolutely stunning view of the ocean from 7th floor balcony. Beautiful condo with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great as it is in the middle of the Ashford avenue shopping and restaurant district...easy walking distance.

The Very Best - Ocean Front
If you’re looking for ocean front, walking distance to restaurants, bars and casinos...this is absolutely the very best! (We have always stayed at the Marriott or LaConcha, decided to try renting a condo this time! One for us and one for our adult children.). And we loved it! Eric has thought of everything! Hair dryer, light up makeup mirror. Beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers! Really...every time I thought of something I forgot...or wished I had brought, there it was! Very very clean too...comfy bed!
Very secure property. Maintenance people always around. City police always in front of CVS if you’re coming back late at night. Always felt safe!
We had a rental car, parking is right at the condo, again, very secure!
And you are literally very few steps from the beach. You can rent chairs and umbrellas if you want to. And there is a guy from a local bar that will bring you drinks and food if you want it.
George, the property manager is always around if you need anything. Great guy! And, Eric was always just a text message away if we had any questions. Very quick to respond. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to return! Thanks Eric!

Beautiful Vacation Home
The view was worth every penny!! You can go to sleep and wake up listening to the waves crashing on the shore and seeing that amazing landscape. The condo was very secure and exactly as described. It is on the beach only separated by the wall surrounding the property. Everything you need is supplied in the condo (just check the cupboards). The are an amazing assortment of shops and restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again in a heartbeat 💗. Thank you Eric for sharing your place with us.

Home away from home
7C was the most wonderful treat for our new year vacation. It is so comfortable and well appointed, we did feel at home in San Juan. The view, the sound of the surf just below our balcony gave me night after night of restful sleep. It was everything we expected and then some. The building is secure and well kept (shout out to Jorge, the building caretaker - always a treat to run into). We have always stayed in hotels on our previous trips, but until we moved there permanently in a few years, we'll be 7C residents each visit. Eric was easy to contact and attentive to our needs, many thanks for a great trip.

Perfect in every way
We have stayed with Eric for several February's. He is a capable, experienced and genial host. The few issues that we encountered were completely and speedily resolved. The location is wonderful. The accommodations are lovely and well equipped. The view is spectacular! The other condo owners and staff have also been helpful. We would never consider spending a vacation in Puerto Rico without staying here.
We would recommend this home to everyone.

Apartment had a 5 star feeling at a 3 star price!
First let me say that this is the fourth year in a row my wife and I have stayed 2 weeks in a studio apartment at the Stella Maris condominiums building. Getting to live in a building touching the ocean with wide glass doors open night and day is more than we dreamed affordable. Saying nice things about this building may make it hard for me to book a studio in the future. I hope so. It would mean that I had paid something on the debt I owe the owners as well as the handy man, George, whose smile and greeting alone would add at least one star to the property not speak of the fact that he keeps the place well maintained.
Trying not to in any way say anything negative about previous stays, 7C IS a beautiful beachfront studio and Eric has paid attention to detail, in ways I think tops the Marriott next door. And I said detail so you may want to stop reading here because we think there were a lot of details that Eric provided that are not present in other similar hotel suites or studios.
To start with, we think that Eric could probably do well as an interior decorator. The apartment was simply pleasing to the eye when we walked in. Everything just looked like it fit together except for the crazy light over the table. But the light was primary interest of the whole room and kept it from being boring. Even the art on the wall fit perfectly with the theme.
Unexpected Supplies:
--Beach chairs
--Beach towels
--Body surfing boards
--Sun tan lotion
--Insect spray
--Flash light next to the bed.
--Spare AA and AAA batteries.
--Power strip on each side of the bed for chargers, alarm clock, etc.
Well-designed small kitchen:
--Glass top stove allows alternate use of cooking space when off.
--Fold down table is absolutely ingenious:
----Provides alternate counter space and catch all space.
----Bottled water, etc. can be stored under it.
----Waste basket fits under it.
--Plenty of outlets for coffee maker, toaster, etc.
--Under cabinet lighting puts light where you want it without waking your spouse.
--Overhead kitchen light has dimmer.
--Sink is small as possible to maximize counter space but deep and very adequate.
--We found everything we needed in pots and pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc.
--Even clothes pins to hold chip bags closed or holding a beach towel to dry in the wind.
My wife is very picky about her bed but the king size with pad was perfect. She was surprised that she liked the seemingly hard pillows but is now thinking about buying some like them. With the ocean sound all night she did not even mind sleeping in the same room with me.
The combination of open door, bathroom window adjustment, and very nice ceiling fan for air movement as well as the air conditioner as far away from the bed a possible made air in the apartment perfect. We only turned on the air conditioner to hear the TV but even with the doors closed the ceiling fan was usually enough to make the air perfect.
Drawer space and closet space were plentiful. Especially since we brought fewer bags to avoid airline baggage charges and knew that the building has a very nice laundry. (HE soap)
The bathroom had a very nice shower that was easy to get in and out of for the two of us who have been retired for a number of years.
--Shower water was instantly ready from the tank-less water heater.
--Adjustable shower head on flexible hose.
Supplies like paper products, soap, light bulbs, were there.
The apartment just seemed practically perfect!

Wow! Thanks for a well thought out review. I think you covered all bases except maybe location, location, location. Right on the beach at the end of Condado Avenue you're right in the heart of things. Yet with nothing but ocean and beach to the North you get a sense of space and privacy. The view is spectacular, even more so at dusk, dawn or when rainbows pop out.
I hope that when you come back that you choose to return to one of mine.

Condominium Stella Maris is located in the trendy Condado neighborhood of San Juan. The building is directly on the beach at the end of Condado Avenue between the Marriott Stellaris Resort and Casino and the La Concha Renaissance resort to the west.
Things to note: Please check the availability calender and a 5 night minimum stay is required. Also note the apartment only sleeps 2 people. The love seat is not a bed. Stella Maris does not have a pool, but you can swim or surf directly in front of your room and both sand chairs and beach towels are provided. You might also be able to stop by the Marriot poolside to enjoy a tropical drink or lunch.
There are many beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico. Condodo beach ranks high up on the list, for accessibility, cleanliness, waves and the quality of the sand. Throughout the day It ranges from totally private early in the morning to where you’ll be putting your rented lounge chair right next to your neighbor mid day, which can start pleasant conversations with new friends.
El Condado is the upscale resort area of San Juan and thus plays home to a fairly large number of luxury hotels, casinos, nightclubs, restaurants and chic boutiques. El Condado , the heart of the tourism area stretches down Ashford Avenue from the Hilton to the Marriott and Ambassador hotels.
Home to many fine restaurants and high-level boutiques such as Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Gucci, the Parque de la Gran Ventana al Mar and its fountain has become a popular meeting place to watch the evening settle in. Heinekin hosts a free jazz festival there the last Sunday of every month.
Viejo San Juan, (Old San Juan) is only a 12 minute bus ride or drive from the apartment. The Spanish colonial city has several old forts to explore, many museums and a multitude of dining options. You should be able to find jewelry or souvenirs if so inclined. In the apartment there will be travel guides such as Que Pasa Magazine as well as a collection of menus to help you decide where to eat and assist you to make your stay more memorable. We are close to the main Highway which can take you to any of the attractions out on the island. There is taxi stand at the Marriot, down the avenue and the city bus line runs down Ashford Ave, one block away. Most major car rental agencies are on the island, several within walking distance.

A car is not a necessity. There iis a taxi stand out front at the Marriott.

Uber is now functioning in Puerto Rico. Tours can be arranged at the concierge desk of the Marriott next door..
