Topaz Villa is situated in the quiet residential area of Cardiff Hall in Runaway Bay, St Ann's. The Villa boasts a large private swimming pool overlooking the golf club. The bedrooms are large and airy with ensuite and fans. There is a large lounge/diner for inside dinning and socialisation. With cable TV. In addition, there is outside dinning on the verander overlooking the golf course and breathtaking views.. Price quoted is on a self catering basis with some housekeeping.<BR><BR>The local beach is within walking distance where a bar and cooked meals are available to purchase. There is a choice of local shopping in Salem, Priory, St Ann's Bay, Browns Town, Discovery Bay and Ocho Rios. There are many restaurants, cafés, night spots which are local for your enjoyment. Highly recommend
I went to Jamaica for first time in 2014 and stayed here have since been bk every year very clean beautiful view the people there r very nice and welcoming make u feel your at home the pool is very nice property is amazing would recommend this place to stay in Jamaica always a lovely time when have stayed here

Stay Away
We rented this house May 2015 for our 3 week stay in Feb. 2016. There were 3 adults travelling.
We were told we had the whole house to ourselves and it was a short walk to the beach.
Upon arrival we entered the house and was greeted by Ken, the caretaker.
We had stopped on the way and picked up some groceries as we were doing all our own cooking.
As we entered the kitchen to put our stuff away we were shocked to find that there was food in the fridge. Dirty dishes in the sink and on the stove top. The garbage can in the kitchen was overflowing with debris, and the floors and counters were filthy.
The bathroom had mold and dirt on the floor and was not at all clean.
This shocked us as our arrival was expected.
It was obvious that the caretaker was living in the home and it hadn't been cleaned in a
long time.
We stepped out onto the veranda to find that every planter was full of empty beer bottles, old shoes and garbage. Most of the chairs were broken and one of the sliding doors was boarded up.
We told the caretaker that we could not stay under these conditions. He said he would contact the owner.
We had to stay the night as we had nowhere else to go and knew no one in Jamaica, this was our first time.
In the evening Ken left and came back with some take out food and sat down, turned on the TV and proceeded to eat his meal. He then announced it was time to make a drink.
And made himself at home. We asked him where he slept and he said he would sleep in his quarters below. But it didn't get wifi so he didn't stay there often.
Early the next morning ken came up and made his coffee and breakfast. We asked him about the music and talking we had heard while we were trying to sleep. he stated that there was a few girls living in a unit below us that worked at the resort.
We later in the morning had to go down and tell her to close her door or turn her TV off as it was blaring while we sat on the veranda trying to make a plan. The women then proceeded to walk back and forth in front of the pool to get to the laundry room,
Privacy, there is none,.
Thank God for the wifi because the house phone was for incoming calls only. We did not bring a mobile phone with us.
The owner finally called and I found out she lives in England. So she really has no idea what shape her home is in.
We told her all our concerns and informed her we were leaving. We also discussed a refund. She was very nice and said she would be doing an investigation.
Ken disappeared after that and we never seen him again.
By luck, the driver who picked us up at the airport and helped us with our bags when we arrived the night before, knew we were not happy. He came by to see how we were doing
the next morning. He helped us find a place to stay close by. He took us there and over the next 3 weeks took care of us for many things.
Eventually, we did get our money back, Minus a hefty cancellation fee.

fantastic holiday
Had a great stay at the topaz really spacious and comfortable. Ken who looked after us was brilliant really easy going and great to get on with, allowed us to use all his great music and t.v equiptment which was a godsend as my ipad broke after 2 days. would definatly look to stay at the villa again hopefully soon. monica also stayed in touch to make sure things were all ok with us.Thanks for a great holiday.

Nice time
Had a great time at Villa Topaz.. Nice family owned business. Host was so friendly and made us fell welcomed and he Cooks too! The property is on the golf ourse very private with a beautiful view..
