The apartment, Villa Criss, has a fully equipped kitchen including a four-burner stove with oven and a frost-free refrigerator. All major small appliances are also included – microwave oven , toaster oven, two slice toaster, coffee maker, blender, juicer, electric kettle, cutlery, pots and pans and other utensils.
It sleeps two persons on a king-size bed or two twin beds, has air conditioning and ceiling fan, hot and cold water, cable TV with premium movie channels, free wireless internet service, adequate closet and drawer space, iron and board and safety deposit box. An additional guest can be accommodated at an extra charge.
Daily housekeeping service is provided at no additional cost; the housekeeper is available to cook for guests, if required, for a charge (decided between the guest and her). Sliding glass doors allow guests easy access from the apartment to and from the pool and the beach.
Our friendly, experienced and professional front office staff will be happy to assist guests with planning excursions and to provide car rental information. Fine restaurants and a general merchandise supermarket are nearby – just 3 minutes away.
Across the road is the Tower Isle Jerk Center where guests can get great tasting Jamaican cuisine at reasonable prices in a clean and friendly atmosphere and meet local people and embrace the Jamaican culture.

It was exactly what we where looking for. It was easy to travel and to find what we need (grocery just in front). People of the resort are very nice and helpful. It was safe and clean. The condo was cleaned every day and we appreciate that. Thank you to the housekeeper. A good place to stay. The only thing that we mist, is a nice beach, but there was one not so far but we did'nt go. Thank you for sharing your place.

Disappointing
We stayed in Ocho Rios for 2 nights while attending some parties on Heroes weekend. I did not expect 5 star accommodation but the Villa was a disappointment.
We arrived late on a Saturday night and were given the keys to our room (#3) by the security on duty. The front office closes at 6pm daily.
There was no hot water on the first night. We found out the next day that one of the switches in the kitchen controlled the water heater and needed to to turned on at least 30 minutes in order to get hot water. Also the water heater has limited capacity so be prepared to have a cold shower if you are second in line.
There were toenails on the floor in the room when we arrived and after housekeeping passed by.
The shower curtain rings were rusty and flaking
I cleaned the floor of the bathtub the night we got there as it felt mossy.
The WiFi never worked.
When we eventually checked out - I dropped off the keys at the office and no one even asked about our stay or bid us a safe journey.
I know the Villa is at a budget price but it needs some major work and investment in customer service.

Peaceful time away, but not long enough
We arrived late, but security was aware and readily escorted us to our room. To my surprise, the room looked exactly like the pictures. The staff was courteous and respectful. The housekeeper Jennifer was such a beautiful soul and ensured our short stay was comfortable. I had a wonderful relaxing time and definitely will stay there again the next time I visit.

relaxing, convenient
My husband and I spent approximately two weeks at Villa Criss at Chrisanns last December (2012) and we were able to relax and unwind.All the things we needed for our stay were made available to us. The staff was courteous and the location convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to everyone whether for long-term stay or short-term stay.
Guess what we are going back for a week soon!

Good but much too short
Time spent was good. Kitchen had all the necessary amenities and equipment for use. Didnt get the chance to explore the premises in total and sample the pool and beach due to the short stay and inclement weather.

Perfect peaceful getaway
I´ve stayed at Chrisanns from april 17th to May 8th and I enjoyed each single day of this three weeks. We arrived around midnight but the security-guy was already waiting for us. Never before I had an easy check-in like this. It´s a quiet and cosy place, the only sound you hear is the sound of nature. I felt like home!!! Everything you need is in reach. You only have to cross the street and you will find a supermarket and two nice restaurants. In the morning I prefered "Glenns" cause they serve a breakfast which austrians like. But my favourite restaurant was the Jerk-Center nearby where you can get delicious food for a reasonable price. Chrisanns has its own little beach with a safe swimming area, but in ten minutes walking distance you will reach "Reggae Beach". Go there from Thursday till Sunday -
when no Cruise Ship reaches Ochi - maybe you will have this beautiful beach for your own then, like it happened to me several times. ~
The apartement #3 is well kept and very clean. There is a kitchenette with a big fridge and all the other things you will need. The main-room had enough space and closets for all my stuff. There is a big mirror on the left side in front of the bathroom door, which you
can´t see on the photos of the apartment. The bathroom is in white colour, that shows how clean everything is. Jennifer is responsible for the housekeeping and she does a very good job, always beeing friendly and hepful. But also Chase the security-guy helped me several times with the internet or the mobile. One day he took us to
a market in Ochi to buy veggies, fish and other needful things.
I will recommend Villa Criss to all my friends, family and people I
know who want to go to Jamaica. I really loved it and will return for sure in the next years.

'Fantastic'
My husband and I stayed at Chrisanns during Summer 2012 along with our two teenage daughters and experienced an unforgettable holiday. Chrisanns is conveniently located on the 'Northcoast' and easily reached by car from anywhere in Jamaica
The accommodation was a self contained studio apartment with separate kitchenette and bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances one would expect to have at home. Stocking up the kitchen was very easy as there is a supermarket just across the road and if you were too lazy to cook there was also a lovely restaurant and cocktail bar directly opposite the complex.
The room was large enough to hold a King size bed plus two single beds. It is situated on the ground floor and has a convenient sliding door which opens onto a very 'inviting' glistening communal pool. The pool was well maintained and was always clean.
On leaving the apartment you can walk along the pool deck and then down a few stairs and arrive at the beach front within one minute. The beach itself is an enclosed Bay which makes swimmers, bathers and water sports a lot safer as you were not fully exposed to the open sea! In fact we felt safe enough to 'chill out' in the apartment a lot while our girls enjoyed both the pool and beach by themselves at times..
The Baileys were excellent hosts and were very accommodating in every way, making our stay very enjoyable as it had a sense of home away from home. Muriel (Mrs. Bailey, the owner) even telephoned when we arrived to ensure that we had everything we needed.
The staff was very helpful, welcoming and friendly... ...can't wait to get back there again!

Sensational
It was amazing the scenery is beautiful, restaurant Glenns across the road was tasty and convenient, ( I even got a free slice of cake for my birthday) we even rented a nice car from Exodus Car Rental which was right beside Glenns. The staff was very helpful and our room was always clean. I am recommending Villa Criss to my relatives in the States. Villa Criss- Safe, Secure, Serene and Satisfying at a Sensational Price. Planning for next year already :0

Very nice getaway
The service was quite warm, accommodating and responsive. The apartment had a very homely feel and with the swimming pool just outside your glass doors, you can't help but wake up with a grin on your face.
