Villa
This comfortable luxury villa can accommodate up to 6, is fully furnished, comfortable and comes with a tropical garden and a fantastic pool. The villa is located in the safe and quiet neighbourhood called Tarabana Residence which is centrally located just 4 minutes from the white beaches of Aruba and the city centre with shops, bars and restaurants.
The villa is fully equipped for 6 and the spacious living room provides direct access through sliding doors to the veranda which overlooks the pool. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with an American fridge, dishwasher, microwave and a coffee machine and last but not least a very efficient air conditioning. The master bedroom has a large private bathroom and is equipped with air conditioning as well. The 2 other rooms are large and comfort...

Nice stay
The house was nice with some details in the bathrooms and exterior (including the pool)and good located.The bed and pillows were unconfortable but Rene was very helpful.

A super home away from home !
We recently spent 2 super weeks in villa caya luna. If your looking for a place away from the high rise hotel, with all the comfort you need for a romantic vacation, villa caya luna is the place to be ! Still very good situated close to the centre with the restaurants and nice local hot spots like west deck and pinchos grill. The villa is very comfortable fully airconditioned, has a nice private pool and a BBQ. Even if we didn't feel like going out we had a great time just hanging around the pool with enough space, sun and shadow.
We will definItely come back, thank you !

Nice and quiet, very comfortable.
We had a very nice experience. The house was nice and cozy, and fully equipped. We were very well treated by our receiver René, who was very helpful and always willing to help. The location is very peaceful.

Our own private paradise
WE, 4 girlfriends, spend our annual get together at Villa Caya Luna.
A super experience, the house is located in a nice and safe neiborhood yet very close to the centre and the nice beaches. The villa is well equiped, has a nice pool and is nicely decorated. We had a super great time in our own private paradise on Aruba.
Thank you, we will defenitly come back !

A lovely house with great features in an ideal location
Four of us (2 older couples) stayed for a week in this 3-bedroom house on a cul-de-sac located about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The location was very quiet, with the only source of noise being a couple of wild roosters. The site is in the center of the island and is convenient to pretty much anywhere on the island if you have a car.
The house was simply but tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, including that rare item, a sharp knife! There was an indoor dining table plus an outdoor table on the covered patio next to the pool, where one could enjoy the air and admire the birds and lizards, including iguanas. The fact that part of the back yard abuts an undeveloped area adds to the sense of privacy and beauty.
The house has air-conditioning in all the rooms. Strangely, the windows and doors have no screens, so AC is necessary at night when the house is closed up.
The beds are comfortable for most people. I have a bad back and after 4 days resorted to sleeping on my travel mattress on the floor, but I'm unusual. There are plenty of linens and towels. The larger bathroom has an in-shower water heater, but the smaller bathroom does not, and the water never gets more than just warm. There is a well-equipped utility room with washer and dryer and some exercise equipment such as weights and a yoga mat. It also has about a dozen small lockers with keys. Laundry detergent is provided. I found the strong scent to be pretty awful. If you have allergies, bring some of your own if you plan to do any washing.
As for problems, there were a few minor ones. The TV was quite complicated to manage; it required the used of 2 remotes to change channels, and the process was not straightforward. Also, the backs of the remotes did not have the doors to the battery compartments, so the batteries kept dropping out. Ask Rene to write down the instructions for you. The other problem was that a leak in one of the pipes in the smaller bathroom developed one night. We contacted Rene at about 9 am, left to do some sightseeing, and returned at about 11 am to find that the problem had been fixed. All better!

Lovely villa. Great price!
We arrived & the villa wasn't ready (miscommunication with the owner & manager of the property). The pool was dirty & was only cleaned one time during the duration of our stay. The Manager stated he needed to scrub the walls of the pool... This was never accomplished. Otherwise the villa was lovely! The location is quiet & we even had a resident rooster! The chef's kitchen was big & clean with all working appliances. Each room had working A/C however, we were hesitant to use it as the Manager told us there would be an additional fee for the power bill b/c electricity was SO expensive. So we limited our use to our bedrooms with the doors closed.
The beds were comfy. The rooms & bathrooms were large & very clean.
Overall our 9 day stay was worry free. No problems. We loved the convenience of our own villa :)

Great Place to Stay, better than hotels
My family and I stayed in this lovely villa for two weeks (Myself, Wife, daughter, Son). My mom also came for the 2nd week. The driving directions were spot on and we were promptly greeted by the house manager who had the key and give us a quick tour etc.
The home is lovely and looks just like it does in the pictures, 3 bedrooms, nice outside deck with a pool and BBQ. The home is modern, up to date, clean, and well cared for. The property manager lives close by and he was not intrusive, but available if needed. We did not need anything in the villa, but since he lives next door is was nice to say Hello when we saw him. It was like having a friendly neighbor that you knew. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We were able to save money by cooking a quick breakfast every day, then packing lunch (utilizing the owner supplied coolers) before heading off to the beach. Sometimes we had dinner out; sometime we had a nice dinner in the villa (American style BBQ).
AC was cold, kitchen had all that you would need, two bathrooms, two showers were extra nice so we could get ready to go out quicker etc. You can walk up to the Sulton restaurant. I loved having 3 bedrooms, I like to go to bed early and wake up early. This way the kids could stay up a little longer and not wake me up (can’t do that in a hotel!). Plus, everyone can have their privacy at night.
I would recommend this property to anyone. Keep in mind this is someone’s home, we cleaned up after ourselves. If we stayed at a hotel, our trip would have been shorter. Flipkey, Airbnb etc allows you to save money on your stay and affords you the luxury to cook and save even more.

Net terug van onze heerlijke vakantie op Aruba in Villa Caya Luna!
Heerlijk huis met zwembad in een veilige buurt. Wat nog beter zal zijn is dat er een nieuwe airco geplaatst wordt in de woonkamer...
Kan een ieder deze woning aanbevelen! Heerlijk verblijf gehad met het gezin( kids van 20 en 15 jr).

About the neighborhood
Location
The villa is located in the safe and quiet neighbourhood called Tarabana Residence and is centrally located just minutes from the white beaches of Aruba and the centre of Oranjestad with shops and restaurants and itsmany diverse bars.
At 5 minutes walking distance you can find a supermarket and a number of takeaway restaurants which include Turkish, Indian, Aruban and Colombian cuisine. You will also find many an ATM around the bus stop from where buses depart in the direction of the capital Oranjestad.
The famous Palm Beach with its high rise hotels and two large shopping malls, nightclubs, restaurants, cinemas is located at 10 minutes drive and here you will a large numbers of beach bars and restaurants.
For those who enjoy hiking we’d advise the national park Arikok located approximately at a 15 minutes drive. Nature lovers can indulge themselves and enjoy the diversity of flora and fauna that Aruba has to offer.
San Nicolas in the south east part of the island is known for the famous Charlie's Bar and the beautiful Baby Beach located about a half hour drive and is certainly worth a visit. Baby beach is an ideal and save and popular spot among families. It is also one of the best scuba diving spots on the island.
