Bright and Airy 1 bedroom self catering condo overlooking beautiful Dickenson Bay, and the Caribbean sea beyond! Enjoy spectacular sunsets, ever changing ocean view ,amazing rainbows and an occasional whale sighting from the veranda. Two nearby restaurants offer a variety of delicious meal choices. We offer an equipped kitchen, all linens, large flat screen tv, and a comfortable lounge and queen size bed for all your comforts of home .Our villa is all on one level in a small, quiet 24 unit complex with community pool and laundry facility . A car rental is Highly recommended as groceries and beach is quite a hike. WiFi is available in the pool area for a small weekly fee.
Stayed for two weeks and was told that someone would meet us when we arrived and a maid would be provided in the middle of the stay. No one met us at the property when we arrived, the key had been simply left in the door. Kitchen was extremely sparsely equipped, i.e. no saucepan, simply a large casserole dish. Had to boil an egg in the kettle and then discovered only 1 egg cup supplied. The place obviously hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for a few months as the mats were dirty and hadn't been moved for a long time.When the maid walked in she refused to do anything as there wasn't enough equipment to clean the place. She even refused to change the linen. A simple list of local amenities would also have been very useful,i.e. being told that it was not on the bus route and the local supermarket was almost 2 miles away. Air con was only in the bedroom and the fuse tripped out several nights. Luckily my husband is an electrician so was able to re-set the trip switch but only after being told where it was by another resident on the complex. Later discovered that much better accommodation is available on the same complex, at a much cheaper price. Certainly won't be staying there again.

We strive to provide a clean, pleasant environment for our guests. We do rely on contracted local people to accomplish our goals, as do most others who own vacation properties, and are not on Island to supervise. We do our best to make sure people are greeted upon arrival,most rentals mail out keys, and you are on your own. Very difficult to pinpoint time of arrival. The maid in question has been dismissed and replaced, as we agreed that was unacceptable. There is a list of local amenities posted in our villa, as well as suggestion to rent a car, or hire a driver. This is an Island, not a Metropolis where there are scheduled bus routes and stops. As far as the aircon, it is common practice on the Island to provide it only in the bedroom. It was serviced prior to arrival. Electricity fluctuates constantly, the government shuts it down with no notice, this is Also common on an Island. We regret that there were issues,but we trust that you at least enjoyed all that our beautiful Island has to offer.
