Die Lodge liegt sehr einsam in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sehr interessant eingerichtet. Die Lodge ist nur mit einem 4x4-Fahrzeug zu erreichen, da die Straße dorthin unbefestigt ist. Es gibt in den Zimmern keinen Strom und man sollte für die Nacht warme Kleidung dabei haben. Trotzdem ist es wunderschön und der Besitzer Rob kümmert sich rührend um seine Gäste. Für uns war es ein tolles Erlebnis dort zu sein und wir würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen. Man muss sich aber darauf einlassen. Rob hat für uns abends ein hervorragendes Braai gemacht, auch das Frühstück ist prima. Fast alles ist hausgemacht

The place is amazing and in the middle of nowhere. There is no electricity, no signal, nothing. The dream if you want to have a break! If you love nature, you won't be diseapointed. There are nice trails and Rob son's took us to bushman paintings, what a nice moment! lots of wild animals! I am a birder and I really appreciated the diversity there! The silence is also extremely good to relax. When it comes to accomodation, there is nothing wrong to say about it! I think, Rob built all by himself if i am not mistaking, it is such a great job. The rooms are spacious. When it comes to breakfast or even dinner, Rob cooked for us and it was extremely delicious!!! All this ambiance makes you feel at home. A real place to stop if you want to go to the Baviaans!
