Villa
A well equipped two bedroom villa in an ideal location just a short walk to the shops and a five minute drive to the fabulous beach at St Palais.
On the ground floor the Villa has an open-plan living area with a corner Kitchen, dining area and comfortable seating. There is a double bedroom downstairs and family bathroom. Upstairs there are four beds on the open plan mezzanine, a further double bedroom and a shower room.
The Villa benefits from a South West aspect so has long warm evenings and spectacular sunsets. The patio is great for barbecuing and there are awnings for shade on the very sunny days. The Pool is for the sole use of the thirty units on the site and so is not usually very busy.

About the neighborhood
St Augustin is a pretty little hamlet set inland just two miles from St Palais. It is a very peaceful spot. There are oyster beds at Chaillevette well worth a visit and an artisanal village at Mornac where all sorts of peculiarities can be found.
Cycle paths weave through the forest in St Augustin and bicycles can be hired very reasonably from the Super U in St Palais. The markets are vibrant and colourful and there are some fabulous restaurants to try out.

The area is relatively flat, so good for cycling, but for the most part, a car is the easiest way to get about

Either Fly-Drive to La Rochelle or Bordeaux, or the nearest port is St Malo which is a good six hour drive. Parking on site is not allocated so you are free to park in any available space.
