This is the ideal place to stay if you are looking to immerse yourself into a typically authentic Tuscan lifestyle. The apartment has its own private entrance and is situated opposite the main mill house with lovely views over the gardens, fruit trees and olive groves. You will be able to see the farmers at work, the mill where the oil is produced and sample the wonderful tastes which are produced on this charming farm. If you need to pick up supplies the village center is just a 2 minute drive away or for those who like walking it’s a 10 – 15 minute picturesque wander past the kiwi plantations, and Medieval towers. Come in the spring and witness the fruit trees in blossom and buttercups meadows, visit in the summer and see the surrounding sunflower fields. In September you will see the harvest of the grapes and in October you will see the harvest of the olives but to see the olives turned into the golden nectar you must come and visit in November! Vicopisano is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful region of Tuscany such as the cities of Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Siena, as well as being just under a 30 minute drive away from the Pisan coast, its beaches, Thermal Spas and Golf course Surrounded by a beautiful landscape of sunflower fields, pine covered hills, and olive groves this is an ideal location for walking, hiking, cycling and mountain biking.
