We (Marie and Lorenzo) are the property owners and we live on site in our own private apartment within the Medieval tower house.

We always personally meet and greet our guests (on rare occasions when we can’t we organise one of our trusted English-speaking friends) to offer a personalised welcome to Casa Colomba.

On arrival, we will guide you through the many books and guides of local information which we have prepared for you stay and answer any questions you may have.

Our guests will have access to our contact details on arrival so they never feel they are totally alone!

We offer a concierge service where we are happy to recommend and book restaurants, book taxi’s and sometimes flowers and birthday cakes for special occasions!

We came across the listing for Casa Colomba in Vicopisano by chance when we were planning our holiday in Tuscany and couldn't quite believe our luck when we arrived. What an absolute gem of a place. The house itself is just beautiful and has so much charm and character, but also has all the comforts of a home from home....

Where to start!? A quick weekend away we thought...never expecting to completely fall in love with Vicopisano and Casa Colomba. From start to finish our trip was full of fresh food, fabulous views and incredible history. Our hosts Marie and Lorenzo were amazing, taking us to so many local spots. A 25% deposit to confirm a reservation with the balance payable 45 days prior to arrival. If the booking is within 45 days from the commencement of the rental period full payment is required at time of booking.

A refundable security and accidental damage deposit of 200.00 Euro is required for each rental period.

FLORENCE with its famous monuments and museums can be reached in 45-minute train journey. We recommend getting the train from Pontedera – a 15 minutes’ drive or local bus

A car is recommended to get the most out of your stay but many guests who are staying for a week or more find plenty of time to visit the region by public transport
