Camporsevoli is the ideal base location to travel from, located halfway between Rome and Florence and within a short drive of countless important and idyllic towns and small cities worth visiting. You need go no further than Cetona, San Casciano dei Bagni & Citta della Pieve, a mere 20 minutes drive from Camporsevoli, to enjoy some of the best views of Valdichiana & the Val d'Orcia while lingering over a cappuccino or stopping for a pre-dinner aperitif. For day trips, consider Orvieto, Perugia, Cortona, Assisi, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Siena and Arezzo, all of which are about one hour away.
Specialty stores and well stocked supermarkets are close by, catering to all needs such as gluten / lactose free diets.
To really take advantage your trip, you will need a car because there is not public transportation between Camporsevoli and Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, which is the closest train station.
We recommend that you rent a car upon arriving to Italy which allows you to soak in the Italian countryside as you drive to Camporsevoli. If, however, you prefer the train, you may take the train to Chiusi, 25 minutes from Camporsevoli, and rent a car directly from there. During your stay, you may like to travel via train to some of the larger cities such as Florence or Rome to avoid parking and traffic. You may leave your car at the station and pick it up directly upon your return without any hassle.
