Spend the day at the beach in Dawlish, a classic British coastal resort with a wide range of family-friendly activities and sights, including the famously stunning black swans, who can be found at The Lawn and Brook. Plan a day trip to the historic city of Exeter and explore the marvels of its Gothic cathedral, Exeter Castle, and many other sites. If you want to see both the shore and the countryside of Devon, Chudleigh is the best option, as it is close to the Dartmoor National Park and the exciting cities of Newton Abbot, Torquay, and Paignton.
