The weather was excellent which was ideal for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds. We also enjoyed walking along the coast at Gibraltar Point, Donna Nook and Anderby Creek. The bungalow was excellent in every way. We particularly enjoyed trying to count the Koi Carp in the Pond !!!!!

Excellent accommodation and area
We had such a great time at this lovely bungalow. Very clean with everything we needed. Extremely spacious with a big garden and pond, rotary drier, pegs, washing machine, dishwasher, Freeview TV, double oven, microwave etc! Heather, the host was lovely and very friendly. Its placed brilliantly for Chapel St Leonard's, Mablethorpe, Skegness and Ingoldmells. Beautiful beaches and friendly people.

Great week
Really enjoyed my week at sundown, it’s a lovely bungalow that’s well looked after. Lovely and quiet but central to local amenities and seaside resort’s. couldn’t wish for a better base for your holiday. Can’t recommend it enough

Absolutely lovely
Absolutely lovely place for the whole family.
Also our Aussie puppy really enjoyed the garden as well as my children.
Lovely to drink a coffee at night with my wife when children have fallen asleep.

Lovely bungalow!
We loved our stay at Sundown. It's a well equipped bungalow in a great location for visiting the numerous lovely sandy beaches and other attractions close by.
Whilst the property is near an A-road, it's a 30mph limit and we were never woken by traffic noise nor was it ever intrusive. Although the extremely comfortable and I think king size bed probably helped with the good sleep too!
Views to the rear are lovely and had we had a bit more luck with the weather the 'snug' area at the back would be great for relaxing on a warm evening. Our son also enjoyed feeding the fish and it was nice to have a garden area which allowed some al fresco dining on warmer evenings.
We had a lovely break and would happily stay again.

A superb holiday location
Sundown is the best holiday accomodation we have ever stayed in wine/milk on arrival clean warm spacious fantastic garden with outside seating and a great view over the fields. Near enough to the beaches but far enough away so you have no traffic queues.
On Lincolnshire it is clean litter free and the people are very nice and the slightly hilly landscape gives you tremendous views as you drive around visiting all the historic and picterous villages.
There did not seem to be any major construction going on so ne new house blighting the landscape just tractors doing there job on the fields and roads and you just go with the flow behind them.
Heather was fantastic and resolved a small problem we encountered over the phone and an added bonus it has a washing machine so no piles of washing to do when you get home.
I would recommend Sundown to anyone to have a fantastic holiday it has everything you would need. And our dog loved it also.

Homely Sundown
After spending a long weekend in 'Sundown' we were very happy with the accommodation, this beautiful Bungalow is truly a 'Home from Home' and we will certainly look to have a longer stay next time. It is a very clean & well kept Bungalow with a lovely garden.
All the local attractions, Beaches etc. are all within a few minutes drive.
We will gladly recommend this Holiday stay to friends & family and the owners are a lovely couple who really look after the place.

Return visit
We stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely Bungalow. The location is perfect for all the best beaches, coastal attractions and the Lincolnshire Woulds. Everything is in the Bungalow to enable you to cater for yourself very easily. The garden is perfect for sitting out in with a glass of wine. Always kept clean and well equipped. The owner is lovely to deal with. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Nice dog friendly bungalow
Had a very nice stay at Sundown, The bungalow was spacious, cosy and very clean. It had a lovely garden with pond and nice views from the back of the property.
The down sides were the traffic, although not a lot it was quite loud as you are on the main rd in the village also in need of a new table and chairs outside, there are tables and chairs but not comfy and full of cobwebs, other than that our stay was very nice.
There is a nice dog friendly pub a 2 mins walk from the property and lots of dog friendly beaches in the area.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate constructive comments. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the traffic as it is a small village and it is on the main road. The outdoor furniture is a little uncomfortable as they are the usual cast iron ones but cushions are provided an are kept in the chest in the rear porch, deck chairs are also provided and kept in the utility room.
I hope you had a great holiday despite these issue and we will certainly try to improve the furniture arrangements.

All is not what it seems
For us the local beaches were good for walking our dog.
On arrival everything seemed really good. It is a nice spacious bungalow.
Things that could be better. There are no instructions for kitchen equipment, no local information on Doctor’s, vets, busses, emergency contacts etc.
Waste segregation, only 1 bin in kitchen. Cleaning of kitchen equipment poor. Eg cooker oven dirty.
These items have not spoilt our stay however we have paid less for holiday let’s maintained to a higher standard elsewhere.

Very sorry you found some things not to your liking we will, we take your comments on board and will look to improve where we can. Just one note, the information for Doctors, Vets etc is pined to the notice board in the kitchen along with the local bus time table.
Our rates are in line with other properties in the area and less than many of the static caravans.
Many Thanks for your review.
