Casa Amarela is a beautifully restored Manor House in the heart of Central Portugal. It is the perfect base for those wanting to explore the famous river beaches, medieval towns, hiking and biking trails and beautiful natural scenery, The Manor House has five elegantly decorated bedrooms, two full bathrooms and sleeps ten. The Annex is fully self-contained and sleeps two, providing separate facilities for those that prefer a bit of extra space. The outdoor area comes complete with BBQ facilities, seating for twelve and plenty of shaded grassy areas, enabling you to enjoy the fantastic warm weather that Portugal is famed for. The backyard has a number of old olive, cherry and other fruit trees, and is bordered on two sides by grape vines and a small stream (not running in summer). Complete with its own stone well, which is used for irrigation, it provides a tranquil haven to relax and enjoy the surrounds. Set on half an acre of land, you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the fruit and olive trees and surrounding mountains, or you can venture out to explore the forests with their schist paths and mountain bike trails, the famous river beaches with crystal clear waters only five minutes away in the neighbouring village of Góis or the medieval hillside towns.
