4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

My wife, daughter and niece stayed at Robin Cottage for 3 nights in early June. If there is a more charming place than this I would love to see it. I think that those who are inexperienced at vacation rentals might have issues with renting in a rural location as there are definite hassles that will be encountered and there is no "front desk" to go down. Our first night there we had a slight...

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013 for a stay in March 2013

I had a wonderful stay here over Easter. The cottage is charm personified and easy to find thanks to the directions provided in advance. There is a lovely sitting room with a log burner; the kitchen had all the mod-cons and the bedrooms were lovely; big fluffly white towels were on each bed. It was spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom. Wifi worked a treat, and there were many magazines to read. It is cute in...

Planned a last minute escape with friends as I have always wanted to visit the Cotwolds and was blown away by the beauty of the area. Robin Cottage was the perfect base to explore - charming cottage which has been tastefully finished in perfect condition. My favourite room was the sitting room which somehow managed to be both cosy and summery, and how it linked on to the country kitchen, complete with flagstone floor -...

About the neighborhood
Little Compton

The picturesque village of Little Compton forms the southernmost tip of Warwickshire, between Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. The village lies in a “combe” or valley, from which the name Compton is derived and the epithet “Little” distinguishes it from the neighbouring Long Compton.

Little Compton is a typical small Cotswold village, with a beautiful Jacobean manor house, an old church and a local pub, The Red Lion, which is featured in the Good Pub Guide. There is also a children’s playground in the village.

Moreton-in-Marsh is one of the principal market towns in the North Cotswolds, situated on the Fosse Way and served by the main line railway from London Paddington. The town was granted its market charter in 1227 and there still is a busy Tu...
