Absolute Ocean front. Spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean across to the sand dunes of Stockton Beach Newcastle. Be lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean lapping the rocks . This is the perfect place to see Humpbacks and Southern right whales moving north from Mid-May to Early September and in October you'll see lots of Humpback mothers with their new born calves heading south. Dolphins swim at your door step all year round. 50 meters away you will find a small sandy beach protected by an outer reef which makes it perfect for swimming, exploring the rock pools, snorkeling and kayaking. Bush walking tracks along the coast. Fishermans Bay and Birubi Beach offer some of the best rock and beach fishing for anglers. Anna Bay shops and restaurants are 3 minutes drive away, Salamander Shop...

We found paradise within driving distance from home!
We wanted a break, but we only had a week. We didn't want to waste time with flights and transfers. We wanted to go somewhere quiet where we could just relax. A friend had told us about Fishermans' Bay, and we were intriguied. I searched TripAdvisor and found this property.
Diana, the lovely woman I spoke with, told me a little about the place, and I made a booking.
Six of us drove up, and we were surprised that it took less than 3 hours to drive there from Sydney. Upon arrival we found an unassuming bungalow. Entrance to the property is through a side gate. When you open that gate, the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean will take your breath away.
The house itself is quite spectacular, and beatifully decorated. There are 3 bedrooms, and floor to ceiling windows at the back of the home provide views from almost every room. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen that provided all our needs. It looks out onto a large deck at the back of the property where you can eat, or just lie back and enjoy the views.
The bedrooms are large and comfortable. We were also delighted that Wi-Fi was available at the property.
The destination - Fishermans' Bay, is a must see. It is a tiny hamlet that makes you feel far from all your cares. Exactly what we needed! Yet small centres and larger shopping villages are only a short drive away.
Our one regret was that we were only there for a week. This is a place that we will definately be visiting again!
