Bobble Cottage is a warm, delightful Cotswold cottage that has undergone recent major redevelopment and is now a stunning and contemporary holiday home, ideal for couples looking for a weekend bolt hole or country getaway. Constructed of local stone the property is located in the beautiful Cotswold village of Little Rissington, itself in the heart of the central Cotswolds.

The cottage is less than 5 mins from Bourton on the Water and makes an ideal base for enjoying the gardens at Hidcote Manor and Kiftsgate Court and for visiting several National Trust properties as well as Oxford, Blenheim Palace to the south and Stratford-upon-Avon to the north.

The accommodation is presented to a very high standard with excellent thought given to important elements such as the sofa, the comfortable bed and the kitchen. Tucked away in a quiet corner...

A beautiful, quaint little cottage. Ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds. Only downside was that the shower lacked power, was very slow, otherwise a pleasant stay and very relaxing. Would recommend to family and friends.

Just a few alterations and this cottage could be a 5* holiday home. We enjoyed the location, and generally the facilities were good, however a few little things let it down for the price some key facilities were missing. There is only night storage heaters,...More

Stayed here for the easter break. It really is a little chocolate box cottage tiny but ideal and cost for two people. The cottage had everything we needed. Only slight niggles were that the electric heating downstairs particularly was quite inefficient it was rather chilly...More

About the neighborhood
Little Rissington is a small and classic Cotswold village, laden with chocolate box Cotswold cottages in every direction every inch the typical, local village for this region. It sits on the edge of the hillside, approximately one mile from Bourton on the Water and within 5 miles of Stow on the Wold and Burford. Although there is no pub or shop within the village Bourton has a wide choice as well as few restaurants and tearooms to choose from.

Bourton is particularly known for its very pretty feel, especially the six arched bridges which cross the river that passes through the village as well as a few family attractions - The Motor Museum, Birdland and The Minature Village are all good little excersions. Slightly further afield are The Co
