The main living area is open plan with the entrance hall flowing into the dining area with the kitchen to the right. This contains a large 14 seater dining table, a fully equipped kitchen with a central island with sink,a separate breakfast bar, an industrial Viking cooking range, separate and a walk-in fridge. Naturally, all the required facilities are supplied, such as dishwasher, microwave and convection combination oven, Bugatti expresso machine, bread making machine, kettle, toaster, orange juice squeezer etc. This kitchen is designed to meets the requirement of the most demanding chef.
Off the kitchen is the garage which is converted into a games room with pool table, football table, table tennis table, that can be moved outside, if required. Bicycles are also provided as well as a toy chest. The laundry room follows through, with a chest freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and board. A rotating clothes line is located outside.
To the left of the entrance hall, there a guest w/c, and ground floor twin bedroom with bathroom en-suite, aquarium with warm water fish, and stairs leading to the first floor,flowing through a reading area into the lounge and bar area, with a feature fireplace, large tv with playstation and accessories. The bar is equipped with a bottle cooler, ice machine, ice crusher, sink and draught beer tap - optional 120 Euros for a 50L barrel of beer - approx. 90 pints, 75 Euros for 30L - approx. 50 pints. Guinness is available at 200 Euros for 30l.
On the first floor, there are three bedrooms. The master suite has a king sized bed, flat screen tv, fabulous sea view, built in wardrobes, an ensuite bathroom with, power shower, jacuzzi bath, toilet, bidet and washbasin.
Two further twin bedded rooms with ensuite bathrooms with jacuzzi bath/shower, toilet and washbasin, each with a private terrace and sun-lounger(s) and sea views. On the landing there is a massage armchair. Should you need to work whilst on holiday, an office is at your disposal.
In order to take advantage of the fantastic Algarve climate, great care has be taken to ensure that guests can really enjoy all the benefits of outdoor living. with that in mind, there are three separate sofa and armchair areas, and premium quality sun-loungers, both round the pool area and on the private terraces on the first floor. Hammocks, and bean bags are also provided. To offer different external dining solutions, there is a table off the dining room and kitchen, under the covered terrace, or alternatively, there is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and barbecue, containing and industrial Viking gas barbecue with rotisserie, twin high output gas burner (with wok ring), restaurant grade pizza oven, combination microwave and convection oven, dishwasher and combination fridge freezer, as well as air conditioning and a large flat screen television. This building has fully retractable double glazed doors that can be fully or partially opened according to requirements.
Should you prefer to be pampered a chef service is available to cater and serve a menu of your choice. Please ask for further details.
Attached to this building is an external changing room with, shower, toilet and washbasin, a small gym room, with running machine, multi gym and other accessories such as step, skipping rope, hand weights etc.
On the lawn areas, one part is occupied by a nine hole putting, another with swing, tower, picnic table, sand-pit and slide, as well as a trampoline. The bottom lawn has goal posts for football.
The main pool is 6m x 12m with an electric cover. This pool can be heated, if required for 250 GBP per week. There is a 7 night minimum charge for this. Additionally, there is a smaller separate pool for children (unheated) as well as a jacuzzi on the wooden deck area.
In essence, this fully alarmed with electric shuttered property, provides all the ingredients for the perfect family holiday and children interactivity within the safe, fully walled, fenced and electrically gated environment. There is a Sonos music system, with speaker inside and out, enabling you to play your preferred music selection or choose to make your own playlist from the thousands of songs available. Just returned from our second stay at Villa Gourmet. This really is a beautiful villa, in a peaceful location and is very private and not overlooked. The villa has everything you could wish for. The maids keep the inside and outside beautifully clean and Howard ( the owner) couldn't do more for you. I can't recommend this villa highly enough. Howard also owns Casa Grande, which we have stayed in twice, it is only a ten minute drive away and is equally as beautiful. Thank you Howard, we hope to return one day.

1st visit - certainly not my last
Over two weeks 7 of us stayed in this fantastic Villa. Inside the Villa was a real home from home but given the wonderful weather we enjoyed for the entire time, we really spent all of our time enjoying the outside facilities.
A fabulous pool, jacuzzi and lots of lovely little terraces to enjoy. The outside kitchen is a brilliant addition to outdoor living. My young nieces felt guilty not having their children with them to enjoy the space and childrens facilities - maybe next time 😂. Howard (the owner) was on hand but never intrusive and the staff who cleaned the Villa frequently were brilliant. It’s a Highly recommended from my family.

Our home away from home!
We have stayed at the Villa Gourmet 5 times in the last five years, need i say anything else?
Joking aside, this Villa is perfect for any family, it has wonderful facilities and if I could take home the outdoor kitchen, I honestly would. i am already counting down the days for next years visit.

Outstanding Villa with exceptional service.
I have stayed at Villa Gourmet 3 times over the last 5 years and the standard of presentation remains at the highest level. The villa is wonderfully maintained and has a huge range of amenities such as bicycles, pool toys, kids toys, DVDs, huge music library etc etc. The cooking facilities and equipment with two kitchens, BBQ and Pizza Oven are all top end. Howard is a fantastic host, knows the local area intimately and nothing is too much trouble. The website photos say it all and are a true and accurate representation of this luxury villa.

Top service, great villa!
We just got back from such a wonderful holiday - it was hard to tear ourselves away from the villa! Howard gives a top service and takes care of every detail you could think of. I have yet to experience such a service like his- he makes you feel so at home. The grounds of the villa are incredible - hope to come back soon!

Excellent
This was a brilliant Villa, everything you needed and Elena was so helpful. We chose to have the pool heated which was well worth it. With 2 small kids it was just lovely.
The jacuzzi was perfect once the kids were in bed/ before they got up in the morning.
Location- excellent. We have stayed on the Algarve 4 times now in various places and the location here was brilliant. Close to a few supermarkets, close to a few different beaches and close to lots of restaurants. By close I mean a short drive. If you want walking distance this might not be for you, perhaps I am wrong though but I don’t think you could walk to all those places easily.
We spent time in Carvoeiro, Alvor, Portimão and ferragudo beach. We were able to visit all the local attractions, zoo marine, the actual zoo, close to slide and splash although we didn’t go there.
Security is important to us on holidays and the villa has excellent security with gates, alarms and shutters.
Really good facilities also, a huge walk in fridge and lots of gadgets in the kitchen. Coffee machine etc all good.
Hopefully this is helpful to anyone looking at this property.

Perfect family holiday Villa!!!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Absolutely fantastic Villa - just returned from a week's stay, genuinely could not recommend highly enough - Howard (the owner) went above and beyond from start to finish and nothing was ever too much trouble, from dropping us at the local supermarket on our first day, to delivering extra water and beer ..... even down to dropping off some ear plugs - when our daughter started with ear ache so she could still enjoy the pool. Helena was absolutely superb, so friendly and helpful ..... we actually came home with no washing, as she kindly washed and ironed everything!! The Villa was beautiful, so many different things to do - our children (aged 4, 6 & 7) were never bored and loved exploring ! The pool house was the hub for us and was perfect, from the amazing Pizza oven to the grill and even SKY on TV. My personal highlight was the bar, having the lovely Sagres on tap was brilliant ....... Cannot wait to return next summer!!!!!! Thanks Howard 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Everything you could possibly want in a vacation home
Spectacular four-bedroom villa in the Algarve with every amenity you could possibly imagine. Have you ever heard of a walk-in refrigerator in a home? I hadn't, until I walked in here. How about a separate "house" just for indoor grilling on a Viking grill, cooking pizza in your own pizza oven, and then sitting down at a table for 12? This place has got that too. Plus a hot tub, large heated pool and a kiddie pool as well. Fully stocked honor bar plus beer on tap. More towels than a Ritz Carlton. Spotlessly clean, thanks to the exacting standards of the helpful proprietor Howard and the wonderful housekeeper Elena. Beaches within a 25 minute walk or short bike ride. Albufeira 25 minutes away by car. Lagos the same. Caroviera is nearest "town" of consequence. Great place for families or friends.

Great Villa - Believe the Reviews
The reviews all speak for themselves - this is an awesome villa, managed by an excellent host Howard and looked after by the wonderful Helena.
The outdoor kitchen really makes the place, from cooking fresh pizzas and garlic bread to the steaks on the BBQ - it is just excellent.
Nothing was too much trouble for Howard, from arranging transfers, being at the villa in 10 minutes when there was the slightest of issues, to even bringing us some Garlic when we had forgotten to buy some!
He also booked us the best table in the house at O Pescador in Benagil for my wives birthday.
Don't hesitate, if you are looking at Villa Gourmet, and it is available for the dates you want, book it! You will not regret it.
Thanks, Howard and Helena - we all had a great 2 weeks with you and hope to be back soon.

Excellent Highly Recommended
This is a great villa, Howard is professional and easy to deal with. The villa has something for everyone and the heated pool, jacuzzi and outside bbq room mean that it can cope with any weather. There is a lot of tech and occasionally something may not work exactly as it should ( or more likely you don’t know how to use it ) but Howard is continually fixing maintaining and improving the property which is exactly why it is a great find. I’m particularly fussy about cushions on sun beds, these where immaculate, and that alone makes the villa special, Helena the cleaner is thorough and brilliant, she even puts the towels on the sun beds in the morning for you! We where a family ranging from 57 to 11 months and it had something for all of us. The best review I can give is to tell you we will be back next year, keep up the good work Howard and we will see you in 2019 ! Nick, Dayana and Family
