The bungalow Liane Jade is located in the Parc aux Orchidées, a beautiful tropical garden with a big collection of orchids and many other tropical plants. It is a comfortable cottage with 2 bed rooms including a king size bed, TV // DVD player, air conditioning (optional), a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.
You will spend most of your time on the terrace, on the couch or relaxing in the hammock, watching the numerous hummingbirds and other birds.
There is a swimming pool, shared between the 4 bungalows of the site and available between 8:00 AM and 9:30 PM.
The Parc aux Orchidées is also a SPA: you can optionally get a massage or a skin scrub.

About the neighborhood
There are many beaches all along the coast: Petite Anse, Grande Anse, Leroux, Malendure, etc. Pointe Noire is well situated to go to the beaches on the north side or the ones on the south side. To see tropical fishes and coral, the best place is Malendure, but Petite Anse, at 3mn by car from us has also a beautiful marine life.
There are many tracks for those who like walking in the forest, on the Route des Mamelles, but also at 5mn walk distance.
Pointe Noire offers a lot of activities: The house of Cocoa, the vanilla plantation Fety, the flying bikes in L'Habitation Cote Sous Le Vent, etc...
You may want to take the bus from Pointe à Pitre to Pointe Noire and then the Navette (small bus) from Pointe Noire to Le Parc aux Orchidées. It is long and not easy to find. I strongly advise to rent a car. This is the only way to go to the different beaches, climb the volcano, etc.
How to get there
Airport: Pointe à Pitre: 18.6 mi
If you take la Route de la Traversée: At the end of the road turn right towards Pointe-Noire. 3.5 km after leaving the village of Pointe-Noire you will find along the road on the left side the green barriers of the Elementary School of Baillargent. The Park is just after, on the left. You can take the small entrance just before the panel Le Parc aux Orchidées.
From Deshaies, take the direction of Pointe-Noire. When arriving close to Pointe-Noire you will cross the fishing port of Fond Baillargent. Then the road goes toward the mountain. After a few bends you will see the sign for the entrance of Le Parc aux Orchidées on your right just after a fairly sharp turn to the left. You can take the small entrance just before the panel.
