The Villa is located on a private and gated property, 24 hours guarded by the owners, with private entrance and private parking space. The sofa of the living room can be change as a single bed. The villa is for a maximum of 3 persons. All linens and towels are include. The property is at 900 meters from Cocles beach and at 3 km from the town of Puerto Viejo

Old song title: Bongo in the Jungle
Living in the rainforest was incredible. Just 900 m from all the beaches, restaurants and nightlife, yet a world away with howler monkeys, birds, tall trees and a river right at our very beautiful villa with our own private pool. We had wanted to see the Caribbean side of the country, and this place delivered a wonderful home in a perfect location! The restaurants and beaches of the Caribbean Coast were so close and terrific. Try the rondon soup at Selvin! And Reggae Bar at Cahuita, a gorgeous beach. I could go on ...The hosts made it all easy for us and responded to our needs. The villa itself is perfect for a family of three, has everything you need to cook, sleep, and just hang out when you are not being a tourist - for which there are many opportunities. Merci mille fois, Tania and Henri!

Wonderful stay at Villas Kasha!
The villa is lovely and incredibly comfortable for 2 people. Location of the villa is perfect as you are secluded yet not too far from the many bars, restaurants and beaches nearby. My husband and I enjoyed watching birds, reptiles and insects every morning while having coffee by the pool and listening to the sounds of the rainforest at night. Tania is a wonderful host, checking in from time to time, ensuring we had everything needed for a pleasant stay.

Private retreat
We enjoyed the seclusion of this private villa. The home is like nothing we have stayed in before. You wake to the sounds of monkeys and birds daily. The pool and deck area was perfect after a day shopping or at the beach. The owners were very hospitable and were available to do laundry when needed.

The Perfect,Private Couple's Retreat
Located within walking distance of the beach, this house is nestled in a gorgeous jungle setting. Owners Tania and Henri were perfect hosts and we were welcomed with a lovely fruit basket and coffee to get us started on our 9 night stay. While they live on the property, the guest house is perfectly private and we enjoyed the seclusion and opportunity to create some of our own meals. The plunge pool is the perfect touch.

Exactly as Advertised
This property was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed staying here. There was fresh fruit and a bag of coffee and one bottled water upon arrival. The property itself is tucked back behind the owners home but has adequate privacy. We felt very safe the entire time. There is AC in the bedroom, which is nice. Of note, there is no street sign or sign for the property, so I would advise getting detailed instructions prior to arrival (especially if you do not speak Spanish or French, as it may be difficult to speak with the owners over the phone--we had a Spanish speaking driver). I am definitely glad we rented a car because the road to the property was incredibly bumpy and very muddy in places, which would have sucked on a bike. The place is meant to be open air, so there were many bugs that came in but nothing scary. There were very few mosquitoes there despite the standing water in the area and the swimming pool. The place comes with two bath towels and two beach towels. Laundry service and housekeeping was available on request. It would have been nice to have a few more towels considering we stayed 5 nights. Overall, I would recommend this property to someone seeking a private jungle retreat.

Amazing place with an incredible spot In the jungle. Lovely hosts and a top quality lodge. Clean and new throughout. So much wildlife and jingle sounds. Perfect experience. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful House in a wonderful setting
The house is beautiful inside and has a very modern feel to it. One thing to note is that if you are bringing a child with you there is not a lot of privacy to the house. There are also no insect screens. There were not too many insects, but if you have issues with bugs then you may want to look elsewhere. We did have a little trouble getting in touch with the owner to get directions, but once we re-established contact, Henri & Tania were very good to respond to our questions. The couple also live on the property, but the landscaping/distance does not create any privacy issues. I have two suggestions: 1) Please provide beach towels, even old ones that were used at the house at one point would be helpful. 2) Somehow seal the bottom of the glass in the shower to the floor to prevent the bathroom floor from flooding during showers. The shower is beautiful to look at, but perhaps not the most functional. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and for the friendship your daughter showed our daughter. Thank you, Dave

Paradise!
Henri and his family were beyond accommodating upon our arrival! We arrived to their beautiful guest house only to find an amazing welcome basket and plenty of information to help make our vacation great; including getting bicycles delivered so we could get around easily. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The property is located up the hill from the beach, a market, restaurants and the jaguar rescue centre. Our vacation was so relaxing due to the perfection of our accommodation.
