A new luxury 2 bedroomed cottage located at beautiful Lake Manapouri, the starting point for visiting Doubtful Sound and for basing yourself for the many activiites in Fiordland National Park. 16 Motu-Au Close Cottage has an open plan living/dining area with full ktichen which includes dishwasher, oven, cooktop and microwave. A full laundry includes washing machine, dryer as well as outside clothes line, washing powder is provided. 16 Motu-Au Close is located on its own section with outdoor living areas which include wooden decks for indoor/outdoor flow and a seperate cobbled BBQ area. Gas BBQ is provided along with off street parking and a double garage. Unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac this cottage is a real home away from home with kitchen basics such as a range of teas and coffees (plunger coffee and beans), oil, flour etc provided. Main bedroom has own bathroom attached and french doors leading out onto the deck, the second bedroom has the main bathroom located right beside it so two couples travelling together can enjoy their own bathrooms. All linens are included and cleaning is provided upon departure. The cottage is double glazed and fully insulated constructed 5 years ago. It has a reverse electric heat pump for heating and air conditioning. A flat screen TV along with DVD and a selection of DVD is provided with a range of books and games. Guests are welcome to join us on our alpaca farm located about 1km from the cottage for daily alpaca feeding and view our Wild Wool Gallery situated on the farm showcasing our hand created alpaca products. Clean and tidy with good facilities. Very well placed for Doubtful Sound. One suggestion would be to add some shelving or drawer space as for those staying a few days it is nice to have the opportunity to unpack and re-arrange for the on-going journey....More

Very clean and nicely appointed 2 bedroom cottage; perfect location for exploring Doubtful and Milford Sound. Ideal for a family a family. My children especially liked the plush robes and board games. Thank You!

Very good accommodation for family with children. Little space to park your luggage. No internet. Quiet and well attended accommodation. 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms but both quite small. Plenty of inefficiently used space when with two people, relatively snug when used by four people.More

We live 1.5km from the property on our Alpaca Farm and our contact details are in the information folder in the cottage. Guests are welcome to contact us during their stay with any questions and also come along to our farm during their stay. We have a key safe at the property and details are forwarded to guests upon confirmation of booking.
